I'm so glad they left Marco in the rotation instead of Flexen.

I love having a guy slugging .360 batting cleanup. I'm sure that's what all the advanced metrics suggest.

Winker is a wanker. This guy was supposed to be a good hitter? He just 1 pitch kills rallies.

At least they don't have any sub .200 in the lineup. Baby steps.

I'm honestly hoping the M's dump Winker in the offseason. His numbers are replacement level so upgrading shouldn't be that difficult.

Marco gets bailed out by the defense this time.

Just not their night. Weak pitching, error, seem a little flat overall.

Need a strong outing tomorrow from Gilbert and a series win.

It's kind of sad to see them talking about having their top hitters all back together for the first time in over 100 games without them including Lewis. When healthy he can carry the team just as well as the rest of the guys, hopefully by next season he's back in good shape and doing well.

You've been more right on Haniger than I have been, but I wouldn't rule out him being extended.

We don't have the depth at OF we thought we had. Knee Lewis, sorry Kyle Lewis is always hurt and got sent down to AAA. We have Winker and Julio at left and center respectively, and whenever Haniger has been healthy he has been a big contributor. I think he'd settle for a one year deal. I think he's invested in this team. Time will tell though.
I have to agree..haniger..does not gain.
From..leaving
..an extention...i would think..would be the way to..go...or 1 year..xxxx amount..
Reason...
Mariners will..load up in the offseason..
And try..for the series...after..that year..
A better...disition ..can be made...extention...no..
One year deal...
Yeah..
Castillo..likely will..resign after 2023..
Why not..mariners have
.pitching..all the way..down...and he is at the top..

Winker kind of sucks in the outfield. He's slow and let's everything get past him.
I truly don't see ANY POSITIVE in Winker.
I was mislead in thinker we got a player in Winker.

His LF play and throwing arm are pathetic.
Suarez was a salary dump/throw in, and has actually been good.

How MANY "i Just Missed it Balls" have gone Winkers way? Way too many.

Winker...is what he..is good and bad..
Binantendi...is the feal good guy..
Yankees have him....
And 1st shot at signing him..

But mariners..could do it right..
By signig..conforto...DH/RF/LF..
I don't know
.if he could play enough..to..make
the playoffs...but they need him going
Forward.
And it leaves ..the door open..
For Kelenic.
And
trammell
Suarez..works for me..and
.toro was supposed..to fit with him..
We will..see..on that..lolol
suarez..is the man....

The M's have wanted to extend him since the beginning of last year. It is Haniger that has turned us down. And that whole rehab crap about him coming up when he tells us he is ready just burns me. I think he has been wanting to leave and not in a hurry to come back so he can save himself for his next team. I could be 100% wrong on this, but that is what my gut says.
