To LeBron? Come on man, all parties know exactly what they are to each other.

When your team has been in the finals 32 times out of 75 years, missing a third year in a row would be off pace...

Trade him to some team in Italy or Brazil or something. He’s more concerned with making movies anymore.

That's the problem....Lebron is the top.

Really? So you're saying LeBron has more authority/power within the organization than owner Jeanie Buss?

Insanity at it's finest. There's no way he has more power than her.

It's odd how many in LakersNation truly think LeBron's to blame for everything but the owner & GM have nothing or very little to do where the Lakers are right now.

That's an overstatement. Jeanie isn't making personnel decisions on her own I don't think. She has Rambis and Pelinka in place for that (or at least advice on that). However, Lebron's influence likely holds as much as those too.

I don't have any confidence in Pelinka holding his own against Lebron. At least he rejected the Wall trade. I put the blame on the owner and GM for not being stronger vs Lebron's wishes.

If LeBron has as much power within the organization (which I don't believe) as the owner & GM then the Lakers are a 100% clown-show and Jeanie needs to sell the team to someone who has a backbone.

I know you don't like LeBron. So I understand why you wanna put more blame on him than the owner or the GM. It should be shared equally. But it's like you wanna blame LeBron for 75% of everything and only hold Jeanie & Rob 25% responsible.

This is the first time I've seen you finally say the owner & GM are also responsible for where the Lakers are right now.

I'm not deleting my # 71 comment. Posted if before I responded to this one. So you can forget about the end of that comment and the 75% / 25% stuff.

She doesn't need to be involved in player decisions; that's not her focus. She needs to hire a president to work with Pelinka and rebuild this roster. Kurt Rambis should not be the talent evaluator in Jeanie's ear.

I've always held that position, but it doesn't lift blame from Lebron either. He pushed for that Westbrook trade, but ultimately Pelinka should've declined.

If you've always held the position that Jeanie & Rob also are responsible for where the Lakers are why have you never said that before until today? Wait let me say that differently. I have never seen you spread the blame around.

We've had discussions about this topic before. And until today it was always about putting to much blame on the player and not enough blame on the owner & GM.

The Lakers are the Lakers and I expect them to make the right moves before next season tips off. But if Jeanie is taking advice from her friend Linda that's a really bad thing.

Actually, he has. I've put more blame on Lebron and Klutch than shopson has.

Linda is only a problem in that she keeps Kurt around. Linda isn't involved in player decisions.

Yeah, she assists Jeanie on the business side, which is as strong as ever.

That's good to know. For some reason I thought Jeannie was taking Linda's advice on things.

You're not alone and idiots like Plaschke are why. When Jeanie kicked Short Buss to the curb and took over the franchise, she didn't start running the basketball side of the business. She changed who was running the basketball side. Linda Rambis is her closest friend and she assists and advises on the business side.

But reporters like Plaschke make it look like it's nothing but chaos and everyone is running around doing whatever they want.

Pelinka is a relatively new GM and I'm hoping that what has happened with the Westbrook trade has taught him that it's fine to listen to and give weight to what Lebron and Klutch want...in the end, he needs to go with what he thinks is best. If he ends up losing his job, at least then, he would be getting fired based on his moves rather than someone elses.

Jeanie has started making it clear that she runs the business side, but I think she may also need to come out and either let it be known that Pelinka is running the basketball side, or she needs to hire a President of Basketball Operations and make it known that is who is in charge of the basketball side.
