I believe some of the characters portrayed in that show are based on true nature, or pretty close.

I guess I kind of understand why they’re upset. They didn’t want their personal lives out in the open.

They’re obviously hitting pretty close to home. All these legends coming out and saying they don’t agree with the portrayal of said character make me believe the show even more.

The Logo just needs to own that shit.

From what I have read and what I recall from that era...there is a certain amount of embellishment (for example, I don't think Jerry West actually threw a trophy through a window)...but it's still fairly accurate.

What folks, including the former Lakers speaking out, need to remember is that this is not a documentary, so of course there is some embellishment and "fleshing out" of stories and characters.
