This would be too good to be true.

NFL Media's Mike Garafolo and Peter Schrager both reported that Georgia EDGE Travon Walker is in play for the Jaguars at 1.1.

Michigan EDGE Aidan Hutchinson has been the heavy betting favorite to go No. 1 since the NFL Combine, but apparently this race is far from over. Garafolo reported he's "heard the chatter" that Jacksonville GM Trent Baalke "sees a lot of Aldon Smith in Walker." Schrager had a similar take on "Good Morning Football" discussing the situation. "What I keep hearing over and over and over again is that Trent Baalke has a history of taking the athletic specimen over maybe the sure-thing prospect," he said. Walker's stock sky-rocketed following athletic testing. Mock Draftable lists Ziggy Ansah, Danielle Hunter and Jadeveon Clowney as three of his closest athletic-profile comparisons. The Jags are dumb.

Hutch would be a better fit for us. I think we would be good with either though. Walker moves inside on passing downs allowing Harris into the game as the designated pass rusher at end.

Call me crazy but taking a guy at 2 who moves away from rush end on 3rd makes me sick to my stomach (might be all the protein shakes I drink but I doubt it).

I don’t know why, but the closer we get to the draft the more I want Thibodeaux after hating the idea all year (might be all the weed I smoke but I doubt it).

Hope they get a long term extension done. Dude is awesome at what he does.

Holmes should've already extended him. Fox has been top 5 both years.

3 years, 6M-7M in total monies should do it.

I don't see it that way. It'll depend on inside matchup between players. You wouldn't be losing out pass rushers as a whole. Getting pressure up the middle or over the B gap by sliding inside is still a thing.

There's still a stench surrounding this possibility no matter how it breaks down and that's for the front office to figure it out.

As it stands right now, Hutch is the better fit. We'll have to hope that both C. Harris and Julian Okwara step up and play better this year and more importantly for the latter.

Yep, and so did Charles Woodson, Steve Hutchinson, Jake long, Taylor Lewan (minus the off-field shit), Steve Everitt, LaMarr Woodley, Ty Law, Larry Foote, Devin Bush

10 out of what. 1000's that have been drafted from the "winningist" football program in college football history.

Sure there will be some decent ones on sheer numbers of Michigan players being drafted. But most are super over rated.

That being said. If they somehow took Aiden, I wouldn't be upset. Detroit hasn't had a good defense since we went to the wild card game with Suh, Tulloch and Fairley.

Yup, makes the edge guys job much easier when the QB cant step up.

He wont be the rush end. Best available Okwara will be that on early downs but having a guy who can do both rush and seal on early downs adds a ton.

At 2 I need a double digit sack artist. Not a guy not good enough to beat out Harris.

They are the only one other than the Browns I would consider on the same tier as the Lions in, ineptitude.

I REALLY hope Holmes isn’t BQ2.0

Hand delivering the Rams a SB tells me he prob is though.

1000's of U of M football players have been drafted? Okay. I'll stop you right there with that comment.

Even the so-called storied CFB teams: Bama, Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, USC, have had numerous players that have been busts or not lived up to their draft slot.

It takes all 53 rostered players and their practice squad players to lead a team to a SB not to mention quite a bit of good luck along the way.
