A court found him innocent . That is huge . Now you could trade for him
None of this made any sense considering the length of time that it has taken. I warned about fear and now, here we are potentially in a bidding war that could have been averted at far less cost. Now I believe that the fear point is going to be "it costs too much and will gut our future" type of postings.

I don't trust RR and Company at all. Here's to hoping that you're wrong and they go full force for Deshaun.

My guess, Grant Paulsen doesn't know what he's talking about. Washington's "brain trust" for the most part is pretty conservative-minded and therefore operates on fear. They absolutely could have convinced themselves that something was afoot and subsequently "surprised" by no charges.

Further, there are zero criminal charges coming so that takes him (Watson) out of the Snyder grouping concerning potential criminal actions. They can absolutely beat out the PIT/ TB/ IND/ CAR types for him.

Looks like they got scared, now he is available. Perhaps Wentz to Houston?

Wentz, Payne and 3 first (2022, 2023, 2024) for Watson. Watson agrees to 5 year restructure.
I like that package and If I'm in Dan Snyder's position I'd quietly let him know that future settlements, will come from my pocket change!

Sorry sty, but you are absolutely bonkers if you think anybody was trading for watson with potential jail time hanging over his head, especially a team owned by Snyder and the hot bed hi finds himself in right now.

The difference is, I gave the young man the benefit of doubt because despite the numbers, all things pointed at worse, to civil liabilities and not criminal ones. Ok, call me bonkers, I can take that, but thus far bonkers has been proven to be more rational than scared stiff's who wanted to put more credence in the charges of 22 women without due process.
Do I believe that something happened between Mr. Watson and these women? Absolutely!! Criminal? Not at any time did I believe that. Want to know why??

For better or worse, this is still America and in this country all it takes is enough evidence for a single charge for arrests. It has been a year and in all of that time evidence has been gathered in each case separately with not one charge coming forth. This told me that they had nothing to go forth with but decided to rely upon the same reactions seen on this site and elsewhere concerning the number of women. Is that how we administer justice in this country? By appearances? If so, I'm don't believe that we will ever be able to put together a jury of one's peers because objectively personal biases would dominate. I guess that I'm just bonkers because that old adage "where there's smoke, there's fire" for me, just isn't enough to condemn a person, even if there was 2200 women saying things about a person.

Too bad that standard wasn’t held for Rueben Foster

He was convicted and run through the mud and it turns out he was innocent

I could go political but I am not

These teams are interested in Watson and that's ok as no one seems to have an issue with it apparently...

"That increased interest from many teams in addition to Carolina. Seattle, which earlier in the week traded Russell Wilson to Denver, also is expected to make a strong run at Watson, according to a source. Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Indianapolis and Cleveland also reportedly are interested".

But WASH is interested and everyone has an issue with it, hmmmm......
