The Nets got a lot better today
Curry and Drummond are huge pieces moving forward as well.

Kyrie wanted Harden gone so lets see what he will do

Durant stays healthy and the Nets are the favorites
LOL.

The champs are still the faves till somebody beats them.

Nets have a nice roster on paper but there's a lot of questions. When/If will Kyrie become a full time player? What will Ben Simmons look like? Dude hasn't played in forever. Will Joe Harris ever come back?

I still like the Bucks to win the East but the 76ers will be in the mix. Nets could as well if those questions get answered.
30 games or so is plenty of time for him to get into game shape.

Looking over all the deals, I kinda think the Bucks are the big winners of the day. Getting Ibaka boosts them back up to favorites out of the East imo. He can replace that little bit of edge of toughness they had last year with PJ Tucker and didn't really give up much of anything to get him (Allen replicates DiVicenzo nicely). Bucks have had people coming and going with injuries all season, but when everyone gets back healthy, gonna be hard to stop Giannis come playoff time.
Exactly.

Why are you assuming he is going to play immediately? I doubt he plays before the AS break. They will have 23 games left after the AS break and there is no guarnatee he plays immediately after the break.

My guess is he starts to play in early March so probably gets in 15-20 games before the playoffs

No one gonna want to play a healthy Celtics team in the playoffs.

They can switch everything on defense now... everything.

Imagine if they actually get hot and hit some outside shots too... ? :hope:
there D has been excellent lately too.

They have some darkhorse potential--- I wouldnt bet on them- but I wouldnt want to play them either.

They still have a shooting problem is the issue I see.

A little short on depth inside too- I guess Theiss helps that though some.

Shooting is absolutely the big and glaring weakness that the Celtics have.

ughhh....had double impingement in my hip......apparently both are equally bad but my left is what hurt----- maybe from all that pitching as a young guy that being my push off leg as a lefty.

had the joint replaced- Birmingham hip at the end of October.....not fun let me tell you. Finally starting to get back to normal.

That's rough... hang in there, WR.

My parents have both had a knee replaced... but they're in their 70's. It was many weeks of pain for my dad.

i had my gall bladder removed a few years back

they tell you not to eat before surgery- and i didnt- but since i dont have a gall bladder my stomach was full of bile

apparently i started throwing up during surgery- i of course dont remember at all

they had to intubate me- worst sore throat i have ever had after

that- and they broke a tooth when they were intabating me so i had to get a root canal soon after surgery

i was suppsoed to just have an oxygen node on my nose and an hour and a half surgery--- turned into 3 hours and woke up with a GI tube and a catheter.

lol. nooooooot fun. had to stay in the hospital extra and get antibiotics since they were afraid i puked in my lungs.

kiiicked my ass......about a month of percocet was not a bad consolation prize though.

Just saying... if you're rooting for a match-up, you could be rooting up the wrong tree.

That being said: not gonna be any easy outs in the East playoffs this year... everyone gonna have to show up and play.
3 years ago Al was Embiid kryptonite. But now both players have gone in the opposite direction. In the last two years of head to heads Embiid has gotten the better of it.

I'm hoping the Warriors standing pat means they are confident Draymond will be back and that Wiseman will be another big that can help

No doubt about it. But when is he going to start playing?

I don't know. I think it depends on how much he's been working out.

If he has stayed in shape he should be good to go pretty soon after the break.

I do agree that he likely doesn't play before the break.
