AK is main focus, if I am looking at the Winners Edit. By game play, he has too much of a focus on himself. Kinda like Russell Hantz.

Others who might be getting enough focus to win…

Luke - lots of focus, but not really a “WE”. He is portrayed more as a clown.
Jericho - A bit early, but the focus he has gotten has all been positive so far.
Locky - Too dominant so far. Day-1 beasts never win. But he has gotten a “WE” as well so far.
”Harry”(??) - I think I have his name wrong. The fake Yogi. He is getting a bit too much of a villains edit, though.

No woman have gotten a positive edit to this point. MAYBE Tess, but once she got off the bottom, she has not gotten any focus at all anymore.

Ha Henry is the yoga guy. Hes definitely a nut. I will say that while you did appear to nail S1, the Australian winners edit is a bit different than the US. It also does put woman under the radar a bit as well, but whether a woman wins a particular season or not usually a handful emerge as big characters. This season the guys bring the chaos early.

Henry was just voted out.

My guess right now is that Tara wins. She is getting an unproportionate amount of screen time for someone who really isn’t doing a damn thing. Why give her that much screen time if she really is just furniture?

Agreed 100%. But she she damn near dominates the shows, but if you actually look at what she does, you are hallucinating, because she does Jack shit.

Paying heavy attention to the WE totally changes how the show is perceived. I have never watched a season in the past with so much attention given to the WE.

While it isn’t perfect and it doesn’t spell EXACTLY who will win, it certainly narrows the field considerably.

Oh definitely. US survivor actually narrows it far more imo. Its very easy to completely rule out like half the cast within 2 episodes

I picked the S1 winner about half way through and flagged the S2 winner by ep 2 or 3. I think the Aussie version is pretty transparent so far.

dont get me wrong, though. Aussie Survivor is at least as good as US Survivor. If you like Suviver, you really should watch this version as well.

so far, the WE has been the old dude with the tats (Matt?) and the Female rugby player. On the Contenders side, the focus has been primarily on Stevie and the injured chick. Not sure if those are WEs or just where the story is at at this point.

Damn. That blows. It becomes increasingly more likely as the season goes. But the winner absolutely was not conventionally obvious.

Yup Excellent stuff. Took about 6 episodes for him to emerge as a player(still have no idea why) but he became excellent Tv really quickly. The editors went 0 to 100 with him.
