. Burrow is a little cocky which I normally get a little chafed at but in his case, I just love this kid
I feel the same way. Burrow is cocky and talks big, but he goes out and backs it up, and you find yourself hoping he succeeds. Baker Mayfield acts the same way and I just want to see him humiliated. Can't explain.

Hey, its water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned. Big fish eats little fish is the American way. STL got their settlement. LA is the big money maker.

The new city always seems to ignore how they got the team in the first place. It was just the next step on the ladder. At least now I can comfortably say LA Rams without having to correct myself like all those years in STL. Frontiere was really a horrible owner that was hurting the franchise even before the move.

Note to owners: please don't will your team to your spouse.

Burrow looks like he's 13, hard to get as angry with him?

These types of conversations generally come down to how old you are but the way the Rams left STL was very messy, too, and if you're of the age that you knew the LA Rams then you've now seen two NFL franchises leave STL. Its a bitter pill to take and honestly no one in St Louis should have any sympathy towards any of this. But its not LA's fault. The Rams are generally LA's team. Its just that the NFL really screwed this up in every way possible. Most people thought LA was kept vacant to give teams leverage in building stadiums. The Rams should have probably never left LA and the NFL should have awarded STL an expansion team long ago.

At the end of the day, St Louis is who lost. They got to watch an embarrassing display of ownership and then they lost their team.

Leaning towards the Bengals unless it's getting late and a go ahead score by the 49er's wins me a superbowl box.
I think the 49ers eventually conceded

I agree across the board of course. A lot of the issues were due to bad STL Rams teams towards the end. Rams were dealing with no home field advantage in terms of crowds then, and it's still happening now as they try to re-establish themselves in LA. Watching KC play in front of a huge majority of home fans, then watching LA play in front of almost 50% Niners fans brought back bad memories of the end of the STL run.

I think LA and Vegas will always have issues with home crowds just due to the nature of LA and Vegas, tbh. But the rivalries make way more sense with the Rams being in LA. When you see Niners fans in the stadium, you go 'oh yeah, they're next to each other and its a stories rivalry' so it makes sense that there are a lot of visiting fans.

A Missourian fighting for the Rams to stay in Missouri is a bit 'I am Legend'. But an NFL market is dead because the NFL had no proper foresight.

I wasn't a big fan of the focus on celebrities at the Rams game while the Niners fans were drowning out the home fans. Who cares if Leo is at the game, lol? And can we get rid of Buffer for chrissakes?

St Louis will be near the top of cities if anyone has to relocate (Jax, looking at you....) or if there is expansion.

Eh. At some point it just too late for that. Cardinals have generations of history in STL. Blues really took advantage of the Rams leaving. I think building up another NFL fanbase would be a huge undertaking.

I thought about it, and I have decided to go with the Bengals for the following reasons:

(1) The Bengals helped the Bills end their 17 season playoff drought.
(2) They haven't been to the Super Bowl since 1989. Nor have they won a Super Bowl. The Rams have once.
(3) They are closer to me than L.A. I live in upstate NY, just in case you can't tell with my Bills and Syracuse teams listed.

But at the same time, I wouldn't mind seeing the Rams win. I feel Stafford deserves it, after surviving the Lions organization.

The Rams. I like the Bengals and all so if they win I'd be OK with that. At this point though regardless what happens in the SB. The Bengals season has been a hugely succcessful one. The Rams season on the other hand can still swing either way. Massive failure or great success. I used to attend Rams games on a fairly regular basis when they played in LA and Anaheim. So I have a soft spot for em and I'll be pulling for a successful ending to their season.

Bengals. Super Bowl hangovers seem to be a thing for years and Seattle/LA play in the same division.

Outside of that, Bengals have never won a SuperBowl and their fanbase had to endure mockery and 'Bungles' for years.. so it'd be nice to see em' shake the monkey off their back. I kind of root for teams that have never won it before (unless going against my team). And fuck the city of Los Angeles and the state of Cali in general.

Rams. But if it wasn't for Stafford I'd definitely be rooting for the Bengals. I don't really care that much but I hope Staff plays well, win or lose.

I'm not seeing St Louis as a place the NFL wants to end back up in for a 3rd time.

Rooting for the Bengals. A team built through the draft from the ground up, the underdog. A team still looking for a win in the Super Bowl. Exciting young players who seem grounded. Rams are a glitz team who are trying to buy a championship and are the favorites and playing at home.

This. Gotta go with the Bengals since my team isn't playing. Gotta love that Cincy's two best players came from the draft.
