He should play more bad guys.

I don't care what you call it, put a choke-hold on the motherfucker and call it blue dog shit. <------------ fave line from that movie.

Yah, I mean Denzel is one of my fave actors and generally good whatever he's in. He was great in Training Day as a villain.

Rooting for the Bengals. A team built through the draft from the ground up, the underdog. A team still looking for a win in the Super Bowl. Exciting young players who seem grounded. Rams are a glitz team who are trying to buy a championship and are the favorites and playing at home.

The Rams aren't a glitz team, nor are they trying to buy a championship. They have some big name players, but no one is runnin their mouth or always showing up in a commercials. And trying to buy a championships eneds up more times than not seeing a season going up in flames with the big name player that was brought in ending up being a major disappointment. Kinda like the Seahawks and Jamal Adams. Every big name player the Rams have brought in or traded for from Ramsey to Miller. Has kept a level head and contributed time n time again including OBJ.

Yeah, he was shit in Training Day. Training Day was as well...............till Ethan Hawke kicked both Denzel and his Monte Carlo in the ass with a belly flop from a 2 story rooftop. Fucked the whole movie up with that nonsensical bullshit from that point on.

Denzel is good in everything, one of the few thst can claim that

Yah pretty much. A lot of people put Virtuosity pretty low on the list but I thought that film was really entertaining lol.

Some of the plots he's been in (like John Q) I wasn't a fan of, but his acting was still good.

Belly flop, LOL.

Would love if someone did an alt ending on that where Denzel backs up and Ethan's character just smacks the pavement and dies... then pan to Denzel saying quietly, "Boom." LMAO

Hoping for a good game with "somebody" winning 52-51. Yep, I want an offensive blow out.
Why? The last few games have been great and have had it all. Walk off wins, huge ST plays, great defense, Cooper Kupp killin it , big comebacks, big OT successes and big OT failures.

Same, I like low scoring Super Bowls. It gives a giant middle finger to the wannabe/pretend fans and annoying screaming women who know fuck all about football and just distract from the game until, "OMG score! HEHEHE DRINKS/SHOTS!" Ugh. Or guys that scream and make a giant scene for their stupid TikTok or video... it was cute when you were 10, ya dork. When Seattle won their first I just quietly nodded, gave a little fist pump, and that was it... and I haven't been to an SBOWL party since High School. Bunch of dorks there not watching the game.

All said, I love defensive slugfests. One of the reasons I hate College Football so much. I appreciate good QB play, but playing defense is generally WAY more difficult than offense (ESPECIALLY with the rules today). I appreciate good defensive players more than good offensive ones (QB excluded as it's one of if not the hardest position in all of sports).

Bengals are one of the few teams who can feel our pain. Fellow sufferers if you will. So I'd like to root for them. Plus growing up I had a poster of Boomer Eisiason on my wall while everyone else has Montana, but Boomer was named Boomer and he had the coolest flat top hair cut. Just so much more cool factor than Joe Montana. And cool factor or as they call it nowadays Swagger, nobody comes close to touching Joe Burrow and his Cigar or his Cartier glasses. He's the Swag king of the NFL right now. Plus we should root for him before he starts getting annoying.

So I'd like to root for Cincinnati. The Midwest team.

But I bought my Rams Stafford Jersey in June or July and I called him going to the Superbowl back then. I'm so happy for Stafford getting out from under the Ford's. I wish the rest of the Lions franchise could get away from that family. I'm cheering for the Rams

Yes they have been trying to buy a championship- Beckham, Woods ,Leonard Floyd, Von Miller, Whitworth Sony Michel, Jalen Ramsey and of course Stafford just to name a few very important pieces that that were brought or bought to get them where they are and that's OK, but lets be open about how they are operating. Yes they have drafted some key players like Donald and Kupp but they have bought a slew of players and that's without mentioning those they bought and sold in the past like Brandin Cooks and Sammy Watkins for example. Heck they aren't even making any pretense that they are building through the draft by trading away their draft capitol for years...and years to come.
It's all about winning of course, so if it works kudos to them, but I still prefer teams that do it via the draft and I'll be rooting hard for the underdogs to grab the trophy and win or lose the Bengals should be a force for years because they have built through the draft.

These types of conversations generally come down to how old you are but the way the Rams left STL was very messy, too, and if you're of the age that you knew the LA Rams then you've now seen two NFL franchises leave STL. Its a bitter pill to take and honestly no one in St Louis should have any sympathy towards any of this. But its not LA's fault. The Rams are generally LA's team. Its just that the NFL really screwed this up in every way possible. Most people thought LA was kept vacant to give teams leverage in building stadiums. The Rams should have probably never left LA and the NFL should have awarded STL an expansion team long ago.

At the end of the day, St Louis is who lost. They got to watch an embarrassing display of ownership and then they lost their team.
StL losing the Rams was on the city. I don’t feel sorry for them.

That stadium was not good and they refused for years to do what was necessary to keep the Rams around. They didn’t hold up their end in regards to stadium upkeep/upgrades, thereby voiding the lease and opening the door for the Rams to leave.

That would've been pretty funny and WAY better. And the eses were really the lucky ones when that wallet fell outta Ethan's pocket. Cuz they'd still be finding Ethan's brain matter in the bathroom. And a new bathtub and floor would've definitely been added to the household expenses list.

I guess I dont see it quite like that. When you're bad, the system is designed to build through the draft. When you're good, the system is designed to do what the Rams have been doing. I dont really see a preference towards either style because the rules are rigged a certain way.

Did I forget to mention that the winning team comes back from a 51-3 deficit?

Rams ownership wanted out of STL. Think about it.

Your team is in the Super Bowl. Congrats. But I mean...c'mon...

So, you think it’s okay that the city didn’t hold up their end of the lease agreement.

That’s bull crap.

The Rams only wanted out after the city made it abundantly clear they weren’t going to uphold the lease agreement and wouldn’t approve a new stadium built. That was 4-5 years before the Rams actually left.

It’s not like the Rams packed up and left overnight as some teams have in the past.

You’re an idiot. Seriously you need to just stop. That team tanked for years in St Louis. Kroenke knew what he was doing and that’s why St Louis just won a lawsuit for over $800 million.

System is designed to make it hard to stay on top. Usually the cap favors bad teams and they usually have the most cap space to play with. So I’ll just agree to disagree that the system is designed to do it like the Rams have for good teams. I think it’s short sighted to trade away future draft picks and kick the can down the road cap wise. While it may seem worth it for the moment, it’ll be what their fans will lament for years and shouldn’t be admired . Just my two cents.

Right, and at this point, StL has its money, LA has its old team back. Kroenke has a MUCH more valuable football team. Its not win/win/win because StL still doesnt have a team but thats life.
