Definitely interesting. Funny thing is that, with as much criticism as Florida took for how they were handling it...they may end up being the state that handled it the best.

I'll admit, early on (Summer 2020), I was questioning DeSantis on every move. He turned out to be right and didn't succumb to outside pressure. He did his own research and didn't tank his state's economy to appease the general public for optics.

I knew Florida was onto something pretty early. One of my daughters lives in Florida and is a nurse. She was filling me in on what was going on the whole time.

She said that it was never as bad in Florida as it was sometimes reported. She said that, at her hospital, most of what they were seeing were people from up north who wanted to ride out the lockdowns at the beach.

Judging by this forum, I don't think he's entirely wrong.

AR anti-vaxxer deserves any push back he gets for that absurd comment. He outright lied about his vaccination status. He thinks he's more important than anyone else. But there's no doubt he's an attention whore. There was no reason for him to say that publicly.

Given the hoops the NFL makes unvaccinated players jump through (which they've recently announced they're doing away with testing altogether), I don't blame him. Honestly, his vaccination status shouldn't matter to anyone considering you can catch the virus from someone who's vaccinated.

In terms of him thinking he's more important than anyone else - what are we talking about here? Are we talking about him looking out for his own self-interest in terms of his health? AR stated that there's a specific ingredient in the vaccine that he's allergic to. He could be full of shit or telling the truth there. But it goes back to risk profile - and AR is in a profile that I don't see any reason to take the vaccine.

Couldn't care less about his vaccination status or his views on it...I pulled for the Packers because I'm a Seahawks fan...so fuck the 49ers.

"Both the league & union said he put others at risk" - Again, the data and approach by the NFL and NFLPA is completely flawed. Rodgers is putting others at risk for not being vaccinated because he's not wearing a mask around others in the facility and on the sidelines.

You do realize that Rodgers plays a contact sport, last I checked, you're not wearing a mask on the field of play. And I haven't seen one NFL player wear a mask on the sidelines. These policies that they put in place are very similar to what I've seen restaurants do where you have to wear a mask when you walk in, but once you're sitting, you can take it off.

In terms of the 270 doctors that banded together to get Rogan's podcast taken down. Most of the people on that list aren't medical doctors.

We live in a world where we have tends of thousands of doctors in the medical field, and we found 270 that completely disagree with Rogan because he gets feedback from others like (Dr Pierre Cory who's treated patients on the front line for Covid).
