What isn't working :
1-Five on five play
2- The power play
3-The penalty kill
4-Confidence
5-Neutral zone defense
6-Five man units
7-Dump and chase
8-Secondary scoring
9-The fourth line

What is working:
1-Joel Farabee

I guess if we can ever get Allison, Hayes and Ellis back at one time it'd be interesting to see if the over all chemistry changes but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I absolutely do think it will help. Lacyznski and Brassard too. Maybe even Thompson. You're looking at pushing 4-5 forwards out of the lineup which at the very least should be a boon to the 4th line ability and secondary scoring. Hayes and Ellis should help the PP and PK.

Problem is, most of those guys sound like they'll be out a while still. By the time they come back, will the Flyers already be out of it?

Fletcher press conference at 12:15. I expect it's just some "we have faith in our group, just need to be better" fluff in response to Carchidi's article yesterday (and the general feel of the fan base right now)

Skated w/ the extras today. Probably means he's scratched if Brassard and Hayes do indeed come back. Press conference made it seem like Hayes probably would, but Brassard may miss a game or two more.

Allison skating and may play with the Phantoms this weekend too. So I guess that's strike two for me?

I'd switch Laughton and Frost in that lineup. What's the point of playing Frost with Bunnaman and Macewan? I think anyone that watches hockey can tell you Frost isn't going to work with those wingers.

Which this is the last year of correct? Either way he takes a major pay cut at years end to free up some cash or he goes elsewhere and we use that money on younger better talent. Jvrs contract is up next year no?

Unfortunately we are stuck with JVR through next season.

Gee however is a free agent next season and i would like to get something for him if we aren't going to sign him but his NTC stands in the way of that plan.
