I think that 100% correct. Of course that's great for fantasy purposes, but if he continues to suck this bad at real football it's entirely possible that he loses his job regardless of how many fantasy points he puts up. For some reason coaches don't let fantasy stats sway in their decisions to win real football games even though we all know they should.

Yep i agree. But isnt flacco the backup?

He's listed as #2, but Minshew is also on the roster, I would expect he's a more viable option than Joe at this point. Regardless, those two are the real reason Hurts has a fairly long leash for now..the alternatives aren't in any way better

Sirianni year 1 is going to be tied to Hurts, an inherited QB. Sirianni will be given the chance to pick his QB, or at least his preferred bridge QB, if they bail on Hurts. But this year, I think its going to be ride or die, unless these 20pt blowouts are the norm.

It was a team loss - OL sucked, with their bad play being compounded by Hurts' bad decision making. Dallas wanted to win in Dak's first home game back a lot more than the Eagles wanted to steal that moment from them last night.

Yeah i forgot about minshew, but thats also part of my rationale on him for this year. Even stinking, where else they gonna go? They aren't gonna make a switch with thoughts of winning. Long term…meh, this year, yes please.
I always liked Minshew. A workmanlike kinda guy who got some stuff done.

So after 2 healthy scratches, and now news that NE is rummaging through the RB scrap heap, that the message the BB wanted to instill in Stevenson wasn't properly received.
I can see no other reason why a player he entrusted at least a little bit of meaningful work to in week 1, to be scratched, twice, for one little fumble. Once I get, twice seems as though Stevenson isn't responding as his coaches would like. Little red flag sprouting up...

Bro, it took me eons to get over owning BB's RBs.
Not sure I'm over it yet, but I'm close.

Patriots have minus 5 yards rushing. I'm thinking it's Stevenson time next week.
Healthy scratch this week. No one runs on the bucs, they barely tried. 8 attempts the whole game and two were from agholor and mac jones.

with the target share that Deebo is getting currently, I would def consider this move if I really needed Hendo at RB

I've been using Miles Sanders as my flex. It's been four games and his fantasy numbers have decreased each week (14-7-5-4). I think it's time to bench him.

I jsut cant' believe this Deebo going off stuff..I'm waiting for the floor to drop out. Dude is playing out of his freaking mind..and WAY over his talent level, something will give
Dude deebo was really good as rookie. And had really strong metrics coming out of College. Then he got hurt. Im not shocked…hes good. His demise was largely due to injury and the perceived notion that aiyuk was ungodly. Hes performing a bit over his head but i honestly am not shocked.

Funny thing; they keep saying Knox will fade, but he seems to be getting better.

I'm not saying this would change my opinion, but Fort Knox ain't lookin' too shabby.

If he becomes a superstar, do I get credit for the nickname? ;)
