I mean they could do less. But mlbpa wouldn’t agree to cap when other teams are spending 50m on their payroll
I think it's not just MLBPA but there are teams who probably like things as is.

Cavs potential starting lineup:

PG - Garland - 21 yo
SG - Sexton - 22 yo
SF - Okoro - 20 yo
PF/C - Mobley - 20 yo
C - Allen - 23 yo

Bench (for now):
F - Kabengele - 23 yo
F - Dean Wade - 24 yo
SG - Windler - 24 yo
SF - Osman - 26 yo
G - Dotson - 27 yo
PF - Nance - 28 yo
PG - Rubio - 30 yo
PF - Love - 32 yo

Obviously, a lot depends on the offseason and trades, also if Love is healthy he likely starts but doesn't play high minutes. This is still an extremely young team.

They need maybe a shooter, defense and experience. Gotta depend a lot on extremely young guys with talent.
I like the Rubio signing to replace Delly as now they can try to use the midlevel on a wing and not a backup PG.

I’m not going to call it dumb. Even the top picks are hit and miss. Presti playing the averages with more chances to hit some good ones. Had Kispert been available I think they would have taken him.
I can agree with that. Loaded as it is said to be still a crapshoot in mid-late teens.

Thought the Lakers should have bought into the 2nd round but they ended up signing a couple UDFAs that were mocked in the 30s

Joel Ayayi
Austin Reaves

Both on two way contracts.

Also giving a training camp invite to Mac McClung (I'll be surprised if he makes an NBA team)

Reeves and Ayayi were ranked as the #2 and #3 undrafted free agents by ESPN, for whatever that's worth. Reeves needs work on his 3 point shooting for sure, but is pretty good at beating his man off the dribble, pull up midrange shots, getting to the line, as well as distributing.

Check out McClung's highlight reel, pretty entertaining for a 6'2 guard.

Lakers also signed Michigan's Chaundree Brown to an Exhibit 10 contract; he was ESPN's 7th ranked UDFA. Strong kid that shot 41% from 3 last year and can defend multiple positions.

If nothing else, the Vegas league team just got a lot more fun to watch this summer....

Sure, but they can't possibly use all of these draft picks. They need to consolidate and move up where possible, not add to that ridiculous total.

I think Garza will be a Brad Miller type.

They aren't trying to trade Sexton?

We all think Ujiri is a great GM though so I wonder what his reasons are.
Guessing most fans like suggs based on name and what they've heard. Ujiri - I assume - has spoken to the kid and done his due diligence and just figured he was a better fit.

I'm confident at least one guy will be better than the 4 projected to go top 4 in this draft.

I just think Presti is an unwavering percentages guy. I think he will load up when he sees an opportunity. I still expect a pretty big deal involving Kemba soon. The Thunder don’t have a center on the roster.

Not a bad comp . 12 and 8 type guy. I think Garza is better offensively than Niller was so I'd think more like 15 and 8 or so but a lot depends on how he's used . He's going to score wherever he ends up . His minutes will solely depend on his D.

Idk who fits fit such small salary.

Something like Sexton and nance jr guys and is kinda fun

they could also add kuminga rights to an oubre sign and trade
Cannot see why Cavs would want Wiseman but based on predraft hype I guess Kuminga (and more) would be interesting.

Not sure why GS would want/need Sexton.

I think more Enes Kanter floor Vucevic ceiling . He's an elite scorer with deep range and his D gets a bad rap. It's simply not as bad as people make it out to be . But I guess we will see
Dude has awful feet. He’s the second coming of Cherokee Parks.

Garza? His offensive footwork is phenomenal. Defensively he's completely average but he's lost 30 lbs so that'll help his quickness. . I think he's going to make a lot of experts look pretty silly personally. Dude is the hardest worker I've ever seen . He will get whatever done that he needs to

My guess is he's starting for Detroit by Dec if not earlier
