You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.
Bears trade Anthony Miller to Houston.

Wow talk about a completely useless location for fantasy purposes.Bears trade Anthony Miller to Houston.

Ugh. I was holding on by a thread in D2 with new QB blood in Chicago.
I don't think there's a whole lot of room to "lose value" when your jumping off point was less than 50 catches, and less than 500 yards. There's a distinct possibility he does better, as none of the other passing game options in Houston are models of consistency, or even all that great at playing a full season, and he could easily be grab a higher target share than his counterparts at some point. And the team figures to be behind, a lot.Wow talk about a completely useless location for fantasy purposes.

Personally never saw much value at all in Miller, so I'm pretty indifferent to this deal, but he certainly didn't go down in my book.
"He could face a lengthy suspension no matter where he lands. A police investigation into the sexual misconduct allegations against Watson remains open and 22 lawsuits against the quarterback are pending"
I don't know. Ray Lewis basically helped kill a guy and it didn't hurt his legacy any."He could face a lengthy suspension no matter where he lands. A police investigation into the sexual misconduct allegations against Watson remains open and 22 lawsuits against the quarterback are pending"
With all the Rodgers drama, I had forgotten just how bleak the outlook still is. Criminal investigation is still open...that alone makes him untouchable.
One or two allegations, ok, sure, innocent until proven guilty. 22?? The dude did something wrong, and did it often.
What worries me the most is, he can write 22 BIG checks, and if ONE legal charge sticks, this isn't Mike Vick where he'd do a little time and come back, we're talking r*pe..10-20 years in prison
But he, and his buddies, all got off...mainly because over a dozen people were in the brawl. But during that time, 20 years ago, his future was just as in doubt as Watsons should be right now. Today, yes, it's largely forgotten, and he'll always be remember as one of the, if not the best LB to play, but it definitely affected his perceived value to a team at the time.I don't know. Considering the concession agreement he agreed to in order to report basically assures his departure next year...yes you were right, but it certainly wasn't because of a lack of effort on his part to get the hell outta Dodge. With Rodgers reporting today, I can finally comfortably say I was right.
Doesn’t mean I wasn’t stressed this offseason.
He just didnt have the leverage some pretended he had. After they didnt trade him during the draft I was nearly certain he would be back or retire. We all know he thinks too much of himself to just walk away so playing one more year was the obvious choice. I will gladly take a ig trade for him next offseason. Also if he reworks his deal enough, we might be able to resign Adams before next ofseason.Considering the concession agreement he agreed to in order to report basically assures his departure next year...yes you were right, but it certainly wasn't because of a lack of effort on his part to get the hell outta Dodge.
Will Adams resign without Rodgers though? I'm split as to my thoughts. At 28, depending on the deal length, it could be his last big chance to have a major payday. Which, I guess, could be just fine for GB, if they have the money, and the desire to commit long term. But if they only want a 2-3 year extension, he'll be looking for another later on, and 2-3 years with Love throwing him the ball, might suffocate his numbers, thus driving his value on the next contract into the crapper. He just didnt have the leverage some pretended he had. As soon as the Rodgers news broke he reopened his discussions with the team or at least his willingness to negotiate. He performed with Brett Hundley so I am not concerned about his numbers with Love. However he could be so who knows. Will Adams resign without Rodgers though? I'm split as to my thoughts. But, if they are willing to give him a 5-6 year deal, meaning his next deal will be in his mid 30s, he'll know that that's his last big one, as no one is going to sign a 34+ year old receiver to an elite value contract.
It's an interesting query...
That's good news for those down on the Anthony Miller deal a few days back. If that goes down, Miller is basically assured the #2 role behind Cooks, unless he falls on his face and let's Coutee beat him outPackers are going to bring Cobb back too. This is gonna be interesting.
Also they cut two QBs today. Bortles and some camp body.
