maybe it's time to trade Gallo we have his replacement
am I the only one who hates trading with the dodgers? I just feel like their front office runs circles around us in negotiations and we don’t get much when we trade with them. They have the luxury of negotiating from a position of strength, they have more money then anyone else, they have a deep farm, and they have the most stacked team. They are truly a monster in every way, shape, or form.
Lol, he should fit right in.

"The Dodgers designated Santana for assignment last week. The 25-year-old saw big league action in each season between 2018-21. Across 40 2/3 MLB innings, Santana has only managed a 6.42 ERA/4.88 SIERA with worse than average strikeout and walk rates (18.7% and 11.9%, respectively). He’s fared particularly poorly this season, allowing eleven runs (ten earned) on eighteen hits and eleven walks with just eight strike outs across fifteen frames."
It makes zero sense to me. Surely Santana will be the first to be DFAed when they need another roster spot. Was this a salary dump? Was there any legit reason to make this trade?

Perhaps Crawler deserves some credit re: DodgersI just posted this on Reddit:
"trading for an even shittier pitcher to make our shitty pitchers look better. fucking 5D chess move from Chris Young"
This is who Chris Young traded away;I just posted this on Reddit:

Who determines what a team's expectations should be in a major rebuild?
And we still won't get the top draft pick.
