Well sans the colts, they all are set at qb...and the colts have a strong d and o line, pats d-well hopefully its still as strong, and well cam and a rookie
NEs Oline is rated higher than the Colts in every ranking I've seen. There is no way NEs D doesn't improve this year with the FA signings, returning opt outs, and the draft. I think they will be top 3.
NEs offense will also be improved even if Cam is the starter day 1. For sure they will have at least 4 new starters that were better then anything they had last year in H. Henry, J. Smith, N. Agohlor and K. Bourne. OK Bourne may be on par with Meyers?
Plus they added a quick power back to their RBBC.

Don't sleep on NE. BBs pissed after last season.

I was more just pointing out the pats had d , but may not have a qb.
Never sleep on NE......just saying i agree that others would be higher on my list now

:wtf2:
Ratings get skewed when your Qb is a runner not a passer. Their algorithms cant compute that.
The NE defense/ST almost scored as many Tds as Cam did passing.
Colts might be the most balanced Playoff team in the league minus the QB. they got a new QB. Now while I am the 1st to talk trash about Wentz. he is light years better passer than Cam. I will talk take the Colts Oline & Wentz over Cam & NE Oline.
Everyday & twice on Sundays & mondays!
(Now I have to go vomit)

True. But the question still remains if that is Russ' fault or team philosophy/scheme.

I'd say it's both and you can find fault with Wilson, the OC, and Carroll.

The past two OCs Seattle has had weren't exactly know for their brilliant offensive minds so they had a hand in that. The new OC should be better but I'd have some reservations just based on how picked that McVay tree has been and are you getting a great offensive mind or leftovers. But the other problem for the OC is.......

....Carroll and his insistence on running the ball. Is the new OC going to have a great offensive plan only for Carroll to come in and say run the ball more. At the first sign of things not going right is he going to be in the OCs ear to run the ball more during the game and etc. There is nothing wrong with running the ball it's just Carroll approaches it from a defensive coach mindset and wants to run the ball because that's what you're supposed to do even if it's into a brick wall.

The last is Wilson as he just has games where for whatever reason he can't seem to read the field. I watched this the other day and I was actually surprised at how much Wilson missed in that game. It'll be something to watch to see how he adjusts to a more timing quick passing game and if he'll have some bumps in the road doing it.

Last I checked QB was just one position on the team.

Who's NEs starter? Do you have some inside information?

It's the most important position, especially when contending for a championship. Whoever the Patriots starter is, it isn't good enough for them to contend this year.

Very bold of you. Cam is a past MVP. Not that I think he'll ever challenge for another one but stranger things have happened.

Rumors are coming out he fixed his mechanical issues and looks a lot better than last year.

Also there are rumors Mac Jones is looking good, he understands the offense and playbook. Teammates saying he's a leader.

Stay tuned and buckle up.

He is a past MVP, but he's long removed by that at this point. He is completely washed physically which is no surprise given the physical nature of the way he plays and the damage he has taken over the years.

And I think Mac Jones can be good in NE and will be starting over Cam before long. But the Patriots aren't winning or even getting close to the Super Bowl with a rookie Mac Jones.

You talking about just for 2020? I would have assumed the Colts OL has been considered much better in general the last few years. Also, didn't you lose one of your top OL to FA? I'd be very surprised if NE OL ranked above the Colts in 2021. Plus I'm intrigued on Fisher bouncing back so that could be part of it.

Pats are clearly behind buffalo in the division, muddle in with miami if not behind them. At least 6-7 afc teams firmly in front of them.

Seattle should be listed NFC or not. Jones wants out, and I doubt Atl will be serious playoff contender without him, so in conference doesn’t matter. It's best deal gets him.

The Eagles beat the Pats in the SB.

Like I said stranger things have happened.

I'm talking in general. NE cosistently has a top rated o-line. Except the year the line got decimated by injury a few years back. They've actually improved in the off season bringing Trent Brown and Ted Karras back. Locking up Isaiah Wynn and David Andrews. Added depth with guys like Alex Redmond, James Ferentz and rookie William Sherman.
Yodny Cajuste is back from injury. NE had high hopes for this kid so TBD.
They did lose Thuney and Cannon in FA.
