It is noteworthy to remind people that AFCE will give valiant battle against the best. As always.
The D wasn't a finished product last year no doubt. Plus the offense sure didn't help the cause left them on the field a lot. This is why I'm happy that they added more to their D especially the pass rush needed improvement.Call me crazy. I know tua has questions. I think the offense will be just fine. Its the d im curious about. Flashes of being really good last year. But they also had some great matchups that boosted the d stats.
jets twice: 0 and 3 points allowed , jets dead last in ppg
Pat twice: 11 and 12 points allowed , pats 27th in ppg
Bengals without burrow: 7 points allowed
Jags:13 points allowed, jags 30th in ppg
49ers: 17 points allowed ,49 ers 21st in ppg(not bad)
Broncos: 13 points allowed, 28th in ppg
9.5 points against average in those 8 games. Stellar regardless of opponent
But really poor offenses
Seahawks: 31 points against
cards: 31 points against
bills : 31 and 56 points against
Chiefs: 33 points against
Raiders: 25 points against
Chargers: 21 points against
32.57 points against average in those games
leaving the rams game with 17 points against.
i fully realize everyone plays good and bad teams, steelers had similar games . Yes i realize the burrow leas bengals lit up the steelers. But thats the bigger question for me.
Im sure it would. Its been a heck of a job.The D wasn't a finished product last year no doubt. Plus the offense sure didn't help the cause left them on the field a lot. This is why I'm happy that they added more to their D especially the pass rush needed improvement.
Saw this article showing their roster in the past to now it would blow your mind.
wow, that really is mind blowing........Found it.

"..........They’ll be the reason why we make noise or don’t make noise.”wow, that really is mind blowing........
A lotof folks not sold on Tua. I have no opinion of QB.Not sold on the Fins because I'm not sold on Tua.
Don't let @FlyerFinFan hear that!9 seems fair. I wouldn't touch that bet at all.
You can't rule out Sam Darnold and Adam Gase leaving the division all of sudden turning the AFC East into the toughest division in football.Don't let @FlyerFinFan hear that!
Not so much rookie picks but previous draft picks that are growing in the system. Some of these guys have been around a few years already."..........They’ll be the reason why we make noise or don’t make noise.”
Fins are betting big on their rookie draft picks. That does not automatically work out.....
If you've watched Flo and Grier you would know that the headline is false. They just grabbed another CB off waivers. I think the point was that their core is starting to settle in.Problem is building a roster is NEVER over.
Pretty insane hey? It's actually a good thing for the league that if done right you can reverse your fortunes quickly. Not saying contender but they look to be headed in the right direction. I still believe 2022 will be the start of their best years.wow, that really is mind blowing........
Who is sold on any rookie QB? Herbert could shit the bed next year and it wouldn't surprise me. Either way I'd rather trust Flo and Grier's opinion as they see the players every day. If he were shit I would think that they would have drafted another option this past year but they didn't.Not sold on the Fins because I'm not sold on Tua.
Yep could be a tough division but I don't believe that the jets will turn it around that fast. They have a lot of issues. You can't rule out Sam Darnold and Adam Gase leaving the division all of sudden turning the AFC East into the toughest division in football.
Likely need one more year, but absolutely no reason you cant exceed that this year.Pretty insane hey? It's actually a good thing for the league that if done right you can reverse your fortunes quickly. Not saying contender but they look to be headed in the right direction. I still believe 2022 will be the start of their best years.
Well besides you, no one thought the dysfunctional dolphins would that quickly either! So it could happen!Yep could be a tough division but I don't believe that the jets will turn it around that fast. They have a lot of issues.
