Pretty shitty for Gainwell
They have Howard back also. One thing is that Sanders is much more talented then the mob backing him up so he'll get the majority of the touches IMO.Apparently they are just collecting running backs. I'm surprised since Boston Scott seemed to do an okay job as a backup (4.7ypc last year). Now who the hell knows what is going to happen in that backfield.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Howard cut early on in camp. They have Howard back also. One thing is that Sanders is much more talented then the mob backing him up so he'll get the majority of the touches IMO.
Health. Sanders+hurts was dynamic.Wouldn't be surprised to see Howard cut early on in camp.
As to Sanders being more talented..that's a mixed bag, and we've yet to see what Gainwell truly can and cannot do.
While no one they've collected thus far is an obvious threat, there's obviously something they don't like about Sanders and feel the need to take a shotgun approach at filling
Eagles have been committed to a RBBC for some time, so I don't see this as they feel Sanders is lacking , but they feel they need to improve on depth. Certainly the injury rate for RBs makes having depth a wise move.Wouldn't be surprised to see Howard cut early on in camp.

I dunno..., week 13, Hurts first start vs NO, was pretty nice, the other 2 games were pretty blah...3.8 and 3.7, not bad,, just blah,, he had significantly better games with Wentz playing earlier in the yearHealth. Sanders+hurts was dynamic.
Touche. I thought it was better. Youre righyt.I dunno..., week 13, Hurts first start vs NO, was pretty nice, the other 2 games were pretty blah...3.8 and 3.7, not bad,, just blah,, he had significantly better games with Wentz playing earlier in the year
Well yeah, baklpark 100 yards from scrimmage..pretty blah..not bad..just blah.Touche. I thought it was better. Youre righyt.
i dont really care about the rushing as much as the offense as a whole with hurts, and the receiving game. Even the zona game had 90 total yards.
84 and a td vs dallas.
standard scoring im worried a bit. Ppr im not tbh
I can see that. Buy any rb with an avg close to 100 yards, i want.Well yeah, baklpark 100 yards from scrimmage..pretty blah..not bad..just blah.
The offense as a whole looked a TON better under Hurts, until he ran into that WFT defense. Enough of a flash that I have higher hopes than I used to for whomever is on the field at RB...I just don't see Sanders as anything all that special. He's markedly better than the typical run of the mill schmucks like, say, Gaskins, but not my cup of tea
Open competition between who? Mike Davis and a bunch of late-round & UDFA castoffs?Falcons RBs coach Desmond Kitchings said "the door is wide open" for any running back to start.
Well gee Mr Wizard, ya don't say??? Could that be because you don't have anyone worthy of being an NFL starter, therefore, anyone could???
Seems like a fair fight to me.Open competition between who? Mike Davis and a bunch of late-round & UDFA castoffs?
I like Davis more than most, but you're right... As a 3-down back in a more traditional RB role... That's a stretchSeems like a fair fight to me.
The rest of the blurb referenced Q. Ollison and that undrafted track star.
There's plenty of FA in the unemployment line that could realistically walk in the room and win that competition, some of which they could likely sign for the vet. Minimum

I think essentially benching him after 8 games for Ito Smith might have been an indicator of no.Will ATL welcome Gurley back?
Someone will make that mistake, I doubt it'd be ATL. I could see Bell, maybe, if he'd sign dirt cheap...or AP....he could do the dirty work and let Mike Davis do what he's really good at, that would workWill ATL welcome Gurley back?
