Finnebaum, are you paying attention?

Kid is a GAMER. Dude is filthier than a pair of used drawls.

He's in a Baylor uni right now because NOBODY outside of Art Briles recruited him to play QB. He was being recruited as a safety for Texas.

He was going to sign with Houston then Briles got hired at Baylor and he followed him there. Briles has quite an eye for QB talent, as Case Keenum was also his recruit.

Hard to believe teams didn't give him at least a shot to compete at QB; the kid Armanti Edwards that won three straight D1-AA championships at Appalachian State (the same that beat Michigan in '05) was told by Clemson he would have to play WR or safety... he grew up half an hour from campus and was a life-long Tiger fan... :L

He had offers from Stanford, Tennessee, Kansas, Nebraska, Tulsa, Illinois, Washington State, Oregon.......and NONE of them offered for him to play QB.

He is very good and deserved the award. But using last nights defensive vortex as a measuring stick is flawed.
