which will also mean that 1st will be in the bottom 1/3 of the 1st round as well.If the Eagles get the 1st, it means Wentz impressed the Colts enough to warrant that first.

Colts need a tight end...
He might end up there. Probably dont want his contract.I thought Ertz woulda been part of this deal

moe allie cox is a fa, trey burton is a FA, and jack doyle has an out in his contract this off season. They can cut him for 1.5 million hit and save 4.25 million.
Moe allie cox was intriguing, but he lost snaps as the season went on. Burton never was what they hoped, and doyle has been less than spectacular, especially at close to 6 million.
Remember , hilton is a FA tooYeah sounds like Ertz in some creative financial way could still end up in Indy. Indy is already really interesting, Ertz and one of these FA wide receivers would really elevate them to another level. Of course I’m tossing this all out without being completely aware of their financial situation
I'd bet Indy never lets him see 70% of the snaps, if just less than shitty. If Eagles get that 1st a lot of Eagles fans, especially the Wentz fan boys, will be loud in their displeasure.Or he was just less shitty than he was this past season. Playing better, but being an avg starting QB will still get him the allotted playing time needed to kick it into a 1st. On paper it looks like they will have a difficult schedule. If they see themselves as a playoff team, they will need to roll with him as they literally don't have a backup. If the Colts play well and make the playoffs, I'll still be glad with a pick in the low 20's when they were bidding against themselves.
Nah, theyve pivoted to wentz the villain i think. Now its time to praise the eagles dor such a fantastic tradeI'd bet Indy never lets him see 70% of the snaps, if just less than shitty. If Eagles get that 1st a lot of Eagles fans, especially the Wentz fan boys, will be loud in their displeasure.
Isn't there a clause that lower percentage gets first too if indy makes playoffs?I'd bet Indy never lets him see 70% of the snaps, if just less than shitty. If Eagles get that 1st a lot of Eagles fans, especially the Wentz fan boys, will be loud in their displeasure.
There is, but is it if he starts in the playoffs? Not sureIsn't there a clause that lower percentage gets first too if indy makes playoffs?

Yes, but he still has to play a certain amount of snaps. If he looks ablittle less than shitty, their probably struggling to win games and are on the outside looking in so they they make a change at QB, so Wentz doesnt get the snaps inIsn't there a clause that lower percentage gets first too if indy makes playoffs?

It’s funny seeing some Eagles fans seeing this as a good return. What they gave up for him to trade up, his value at his peak, etc. Fas and the team valued him as a franchise QB and not too long ago they probably thought a Watson return or close was the only return suited. With all the dead cap...this isn’t anything close to a win. The only way this can somewhat be healed for now is if Hurts becomes the real deal, which doesn’t seem very likely.“Not thrilled,” ESPN NFL Nation Eagles Reporter Tim McManus said Friday on Get Up! about how the Eagles feel in the aftermath of the trade. “They recognize the return they got vs. what they invested in (Wentz) does not match up
I agree getting the 1st is much better than a 2nd, and no I don't think you'll be one to bitch about the trade, as you were never a fan boy, and for the most part your pretty level headed. I agree if their in the hunt they wont bench him, but it probably also means he's not playing a little less than shitty..I hope we get a 1st. Getting a pick in the 20's is better than the 50's. Even still there is a scenario where Wentz plays well(avg starter) and they miss the playoffs, given their schedule. If their in the playoff hunt, they aren't going to bench him.
Doug is probably laughing his ass off at the Eagles right now. I know I would. My question is, wasn't the big breaking point for Doug Pederson that he wanted to move on from Wentz? And they ended up trading him anyways?
I think some are saying they got a pretty good return considering Indy was the only buyer. It’s funny seeing some Eagles fans seeing this as a good return.
