Too many MJ fans disagree....when it's like you said. Dead even tie. I can see that right now, but not either side saying 1 is so much better than the other.I was the biggest MJ fanboy there ever was. I started watching basketball because of Jordan. I followed the Bulls closely. First on the Sports page as a young kid, then by watching all their games on WGN when I was old to stay up.
As a teen, I planned my work schedule around Bulls playoff games. I have my favorite teams today to be sure, but I will never be as emotionally invested in a team as I was the Jordan Bulls.
I say all this to provide some background.
I believe it is a dead even tie between MJ and LeBron. Both achieved things the other didn’t. Both are alone at the top of the NBA’s Mount Rushmore.
It is okay to come down on 1 side or the other of the debate. But people who say it isn’t close are deluding themselves.
