The Texans will hire him if they're smart.
But, does he want that job now that Watson is going to be traded most likely?

Hell, I'm starting to think he should stay in KC and take over when Reid retires in a few years.....

He's the guy Watson wants.

At this point.....I think Watson wants out regardless who the new HC is.
.
Doesn't matter. He has no leverage. He'd also look like an idiot if he left after the hired the coach he wants.

If houston gives in they might as well disband the franchise. This shit is unfnreal.

I disagree. First of all, Bienemy has the experience and should be pretty good. Besides, it's smart to at least give strong consideration to whomever your franchise qb wants, since that's who has to run the offense that the new HC brings. Especially when you told him he'd be part of the process.

Agree to disagree on this one, everyone has a job to do and people need to stick to theirs. That franchise will continue to be a joke i guess.

And Biennemy should not accept the job at this point either.

I don't know. When I would have to hire someone, I usually had my assistant and/or another key employee sit in and even ask a couple of questions if they wanted to.

My reasoning was that they were the ones who would be spending the most time working with that person. They also brought a different perspective and would sometimes ask questions that didn't occur to me. It was also an opportunity to see who might be promotable.

I always had final say, but input from my team was always helpful and even led me to hire someone I wasn't really considering a couple of times.
