So. Do you guys watch these games sober? You seem to pick up WAAAAAY more than I do. Like, can you navigate stairs after the game?
I spent the first half of the game exercising. I had a beer for dinner before the game but that was it.

Have a platform in front of the TV to do steps. Pushups, etc.

LOL...unfortunately I do most of the time, especially a Sunday night game. No way I could get up the next morning. Sucks getting older.

LOL....yeah I will ask her when she is up in the morning for a good routine. Unlike me, she goes to bed early.
But when I lost my weight it was some cardio but must include weight training or exercise like sit ups, push-ups, etc... If you stick to only cardio your weight loss won't go as you expected.

Now I usually warm up on the rowing machine or treadmill for 5-10 minutes then weights on a particular part of the body that day and then cool off with stretching and depending on how much I work out some additional treadmill.
Trust me stretching is very important. I used to be like pfft...screw stretching but now I am a huge believer in the importance. Also having break days is important, resting your body helps keep you from breaking down.

Trust me I learned this all from the better half and other personal trainers. Even my wife as a personal training, trains with other personal trainers.

Yea can't say I've ever been fond of stretching... But as I get older I start to understand how much it helps with recovery. I miss being in my 20's when nothing hurt after weight training.

I've been gettin after it recently after taking 4-5 months off lol. I jog for 1 mile at least 3-4 times per week. And weight train with a crooked bar & dumbells about 3-4 times per week. Mainly just squats, shoulder press, curls, deads & lunges. Used to go to the gym 4x per week when my work's rec facility was open. But it hasn't been open since March of last year when the pandemic hit. Hardest thing I've been battling lately is the craving swings. My work feeds us breakfast & lunch for free. Most times I just get a b-fast burrito & a salmon salad, but man I feel hungry all the time. Pretty sure I need to drastically increase my water intake.

I've never worked with a personal trainer but I've always wanted to ask one for their go-to tips for weight loss outside of the top ones that you can read about online. I've tried all the diets and some have worked, but when you try them a 2nd time around its not as effective. Intermittent fasting used to be my go-to but it doesn't seem to work very well anymore. I could lose 15-20lbs in less than a month, but now its more like 5-10lbs.

So what's everyone's thoughts on if the Steelers promote Matt Canada to OC?

My take: If Fichtner is rightfully demoted or fired, then its probably going to be the move that Tomlin wants to make. I don't think Canada was brought in to remain an assistant. I fully believe the team knew they were going to need to start transitioning the offense. Ben on his final years of contract and the O-line in flux. But the problem lies with Ben. Canada's offense in college required a mobile QB that can throw on the run: bootlegs, rollouts, motion everywhere, and a lot of play action. Given how immobile Ben looked this year, I just have no idea how that offense would work if they brought back Ben for 1 more year. Unless Canada is some sort of made offensive genius that tailors it perfectly to Ben... But I don't see that happening. His offense lives & dies by that motion pulling the defense in different directions. I'm not optimistic that Ben could be mobile enough for that role. If Ben chooses to stay under a restructured contract, then maybe they put off installing Canada's offense another year?

Honestly if Canada gets promoted then it most likely means the end of Ben Roethlisberger. They may have already told Ben, and they are waiting until he makes his decision before they announce it.

I usually work from home the next day if it's a late game. I'm usually still drunk when I wake up.

But only if they have those tiny meatballs in them.

And never wieners. Keep your wieners out of my spaghettios.
