I there have been elite of the elite "true franchise QBs" who have had awful playoff games with their roster in tact, and no one knowing what Covid is. No matter what happens tomorrow, with all this team has dealt with this season he's shown he can handle adversity IMO.

But my guess is if they lose no matter how it goes down he will show his growth and take the blame.

There's a difference between a proven true franchise qb having a bad game and a guy who isn't a proven franchise qb having one. With the proven qb, unless he's gotten old, a bad game just gets dismissed as "everyone has a bad game, even the greats".

An unproven qb has a bad game and questions persist about whether or not he can be a franchise qb.

I don’t remember when I posted about it, but I had the info.

I also posted about Murray and Haskins before the draft the prior year. Even posted about Murray being good on the fantasy football boards before AZ was talking about taking him 1. Back then he was projected as a mid-first player.

Again though, this year might be different because of Covid.
I am fairly certain it was after the draft you said what this year's QBs and Haskins would be (at least first I read was after). Why I countered with I'll say any guy will be a bust if 3rd QB taken and drafted in the teens when it came to Haskins. No need for any other data to be right about that far more often than not.

Hopefully after combine we can get some juicy info?

The circumstances are why he needs to play well.
OK...and the circumstances are why many might struggle. As mentioned (and not sure why you ignore) elite of the elite QBs have struggled and lost playoff games before anyone knew what Covid was.

yet knowing proven elite QBs who are still elite and have bad games might make a reasonable fan not blame Baker if the team cannot pull out a W tomorrow. Or even expect he would if he is a true franchise QB. There's also Defense, special teams, blocking, run game, coaching, etc that are mostly things he cannot control.

This shit. I mean come on man

You couldn't lift your arm three weeks ago now you're magically ready???

Lol
Here's a flash. With nearly every injury there is a time you cannot do something (walk, lift arm, lift weights, etc) one day and then you finally can. and not just 3 weeks later but often cannot do something one day and can the next. How are you thinking this works?

Look, you just don't like the kid for whatever reason. Just say so. Or stick with you are allowed an opinion even if it's baseless.

The idea you think a pro athlete who has never earned a huge payday would skip a season when healthy is laughable and absurd. Might there be a random example? I guess. But nothing we've seen from this case implies as much.

At this point in time I don't like greedy Williams. Yes.

Just like I never liked Jeff Green lol

Sixers have 2 rookies starting today. Against the Nuggets.

Sixers are going to lose by 30 today.

I don't think there's a question on whether or not he can be a franchise qb. The question is...will he?

He played well this year. Stefanski, a running game and arguably the best o-line in the NFL has helped him.

But that's the regular season. Now we have to see how he responds to the pressure of the playoffs. I don't think he needs to beat the Steelers, but he does need to play well. If he doesn't, the questions will continue.
doesnt help that Baker hasnt thrown a pass all week

for the last 2 weeks they have barely practiced- the facility has been closed like everyday. its ridiculous.

Yeah Murray took a step back in year 2, especially since they added Hopkins, not to the level Baker fell off. We will see in year 3....high potential

He did.

I think the shoulder injury really limited him in the second half.

He went from being an MVP candidate to being pretty mediocre at the end.

The Sixers had 4 rookies on the floor. Holding tough so far but eventually the Nuggets will pull away.

I definitely posted about Tua and Burrow before the draft. I have posted many times about Tua not being all that even before he was injured last year. If not here, definitely on the fantasy football forums.

Usually my guy is at the combine, senior bowl and some pro days. He isn’t allowed at any this year, so all bets are off. He will surely have some data but not as much.
