They still could have handed off to him and thrown to him more.
I mean, sure, they could, but this sounds like the Browns fans who wanted more runs last week even though the RBs were at a yard per carry well into the 3rd and down 3 scores. Running and short passes to RBs and running clock plays into OSU's hands at that point.

OSU was just dominating. Not really sure Clemson could have done anything different to win the game.....other than executing better on D.

Except that the NFL mics didn't pick anything up and to my knowledge, the only player claiming he heard something is Garrett.

I don't think there's any question Rudolph said something to set him. off. If he's innocent why did the league fine him $50,000? The league doesn't hand out fines for no reason.

If he did, someone other than Garrett must have heard it. Yet no one has come forward that I've seen, not even any of Garrett's teammates.

Unless there is a recording of it that we haven't heard yet or another player comes forward and says they heard it too...there is plenty of question whether or not Rudolph said anything.

Also, all kinds of shit gets said on a football field. So it easily could have been someone else saying something. But again, there's no recording and no one corroborating Garrett's story.

Additionally, whether Rudolph said something or not, he was one of the main participants in the fight, so of course he was fined. He was likely fined for participating in the fight. I don't see the NFL fining him for saying something that they can't prove he said. There also doesn't appear to be any history of Rudolph doing anything like that.

People really need to quit assuming that every time a black person gets pissed at a white person, it's because the white person said something racial.

I'm not even saying that Rudolph didn't say anything. But until there's some evidence that he did, it's just folks trying to make up an excuse for an inexcusable act.

Newsflash: Football is a violent and emotional game. Sometimes guys get pissed off and react badly.

This is my own opinion, not saying it's right as nobody know all the details. You mentioned Rudolph was part of the fight. Obviously that's true. But I just find it hard to believe he was fined $50,000 for almost getting KO'd with a helmet. That's it, that's why he was fined? That doesn't seem right.

I do think what you are saying MIGHT be true, but there is also a pic that I've seen (and posted in this forum) of Rudolph right near Garrett's ear where he COULD have said something with only Garrett hearing it. and, yes, if Garrett made it up that's as inexcusable as the helmet swing IMO (only because result wasn't as bad as could have been).

Per Shefter.....Steelers placed CB Joe Haden, TE Eric Ebron and LB Cassius Marsh on the Reserve/COVID-19 List. To go along with following...

-QB Ben Roethlisberger -C Maurkice Pouncey -LB TJ Watt ( Arguably DPOY) -DT Cameron Heyward -SS Terrell Edmunds -K Chris Boswell

all the guys we had out last week and this one wont bother me one bit if Minkah and a WR or 2 decide to sit it out.

Go ahead take them out of context.

Delly is a very mediocre player, but his skills did fit LeBron better.

Cleveland with Kyrie was better than Cleveland with Delly.

But not by nearly as much as the talent gap between the two players because Delly fit better with LeBron than Kyrie did.

Pretty simple really.
you are insane

Do you honestly believe Kyrie was a great fit with LeBron? Like really?

Answer this question then:

When is LeBron at his best? When is Kyrie at his best?

The answer for both is with the ball in their hands. And LeBron isn’t nearly as good playing off the ball as a player like Kevin Durant.

When Kyrie went out, it meant more possessions and higher usage for LeBron. And since he is a freaking cyborg, he was able to absorb those touches and maintain relatively high efficiency.

So, no, Kyrie and was far from the ideal complement for LeBron. A highly skilled big like AD or an elite catch and shoot 3 and D player like Klay are the ideal compliments for LeBron.

Fit does not mean DICK if you dont have the talent. I dont give a fuck how good your "fit" is with a certain player.

Delly cant drop 40 with LeBron dropping 40 to win a game 5 on the road. Delly cant arguably the most clutch shot in NBA history.

i think you thought you could get away with an all-time dumb comment since you never expected the CAvs sto win and have it thrown back in your face (another dumb thing you said- that the Cavs wouldnt win with Kyrie).

i think you were trying to be slick and outsmarted yourself with an all-time dumb comment and have been scrambling ever since with incomprehensible bullshit.

not only that but a lot of those guys are mic'd up--- the Browns asked for the tape and were explicitly denied. I think there was a cover up. Garrett is actually a very smart and introspective guy. He does not seem like a liar to me.

i think whats more likely- Garrett lying--- or a backup QB lying who doesnt have much talent and who would have been black-balled from the league and ostracized from his teammates if what he potentially said did come out.

No man.

You are making a lot more of my comment than it was.

The fit issue is exactly why Kyrie, despite his obvious skills and talents has always struggled to have a significant impact on winning. It is why since leaving Cleveland his teams have been as good or better when he is not playing.

Of course Cleveland was never going to win a title with Delly as their starting point guard because Kyrie is the much better player. Of course you need talent and star power to win.

My comment was right on target then and it still is.

You are the one with the all time dumb comments. And there are a lot of them.

I admit when I am wrong, unlike you. I owned my error in saying Cleveland wouldn’t win with Kyrie. THAT is the comment you should be hitting me with, but I owned that and it dwarfs in comparison to all your monumental gaffes, which you continue to ignore.

@WiggyRuss

You really are a trip.

Back in 2015, I had Kyrie pegged as a super talented, but selfish player whose playing style didn’t contribute as much to winning as a man with his talents should.

You had him pegged as a player on an all-time great trajectory.

And you have the gumption to claim I was wrong about Kyrie?

LOL. Only you could possibly even attempt to make that claim.

So go ahead and keep dredging that up.

The part I WAS wrong about was in saying that Kyrie would prevent LeBron from winning a title in Cleveland. I own that and I always will.

Will you own your mistakes? Never.

You realize that you're trying to explain this to Cleveland fans, right?
