well of course if they go undefeated--- but breaking in a new QB and losing a lot of talent.

Miami and NC are definitely not great but they are not pushovers.... over a 11 game schedule you can lose a game here or there witha new QB that isnt an all time great. Thats what i am saying.

If they have one loss- and it comes down to them, Oklahoma and ND each with one loss- i certainly dont think thats a shoe-in for Clemson at that point. With Watson or Lawrence they would get the benefit of the doubt.
Agree....though pretty sure TL's replacement is a 5 star QB and played pretty well against ND this year.

Yeah, you were right.

Saw about 10 minutes of the Northwestern game and thought Ohio St. wasn’t that good.

Pretty sure though it was you who also said they didn’t deserve to make the playoff last week.
Yes he did. And Dabo stuck to his guns on that one after the game too. Said a team without 9 games does not deserve to be top 10. Does that mean regardless of title game outcome at 7-1 or 8-0 he has Clemson ahead of OSU? If only OSU could have played and beat Illinois to earn their top 10 ranking.

Yeah, pretty much is.

You on the other hand?

Wouldn’t even crack the top 10.
This one and the Kyrie/Delly on par with most of his predictions, especially since many agreed with his predictions (even those against their own team).

As for this game have to admit I did not see an OSU blowout coming but figured they had a decent chance to win. Knew the O was on par with last year. Even though they gave up a ton of passing yards, I'd say the D stepped up as they really controlled the running of Etienne/TL.

as bad as those you are accused of having, that's for sure. though not as silly of the Delly/Kyrie comments.

Go ahead take them out of context.

Delly is a very mediocre player, but his skills did fit LeBron better.

Cleveland with Kyrie was better than Cleveland with Delly.

But not by nearly as much as the talent gap between the two players because Delly fit better with LeBron than Kyrie did.

Pretty simple really.

That is true. Just had a really bad feeling about this game for clemson. Dabo did too much shit talking.

So glad he got his team got destroyed
Have to say when it comes to shit talking in games involving OSU the talkers often end up on the wrong end of the outcome and it can go either way. Hoping OSU keeps their mouths shut and they go live in a bubble for the next week.

Northwestern beating the shit outta Auburn should have probably been a little bit of a clue-bird. NW was obviously pretty legit.
Yep. Many assumed because not the bigger name like UM or Penn state NW being good just means the BIG isn't good.

Yeah, no.

Being way off on a score prediction of a game for a sport I don’t even really follow that closely is nothing at all like Wiggy claiming with absolute certainty in dozens of replies does not come close to equating.

Dude bet his testicles on LeBron’s free agency and said he would fly to Mars if McGee averaged 8 points a game.

Not the same.

he really did. He kept talking to. He shoulda just shut up.

Ohio State has the talent. I hated how topsy turvy their season was.

This is really the game that for me cements Ryan Day as a worthy successor to Tressell and Urb.

I always thought Day was the right choice---- but you go from 2 great coaches in Tressell and Urb to a guy who seems like a great fit and great up and coming guy--- but still has a lot to prove.

I really feel that Day proved today that in addition to being at a recruiting behemoth like OSU, that he can also coach at a very high level.
I think it's actually fair to say we lost Tressel and got a better coach and lost Meyer and might have gotten a better coach. Who could have predicted that (especially the latter switch)?

One thing Day will (and has) done is recruit 5 star talent at QB to OSU. And not just guys who can run and aren't good passers.

It's an absurd comment. Just own it.

since most here agreed with him on his Lebron prediction (as well as how far Heat would go this year) and you kind of stood alone here on your OSU/Clemson prediction again you are off base. I know you are not allowed to own it, though.

Is Lebron better off with a PG who can defend than one who cannot defend well? sure, but not if the PG is Delly who is nowhere close to Kyrie's level at the other things he does well. Keep digging the hole on that one, though. Last I'll mention it.

You don’t know basketball if you think that is a absurd comment.

Just because a player is a lot better than another doesn’t mean the fit is better.

Did I say Cleveland was better with Delly?

No. I very clearly said they weren’t.

Standing alone?

Vegas had Clemson by 6.5. That is a large spread.

But because 2 people here picked OSU I am “standing alone”?

You are way too much sometimes.

I took the Buckeyes and pts mainly because I didn't want to see Bana vs Clemson. I was stunned by the game last night.

This is a doozy. Mason Rudolph says he hasn't heard from Myles Garrett since helmet brawl, but would be happy to talk

First I gotta say what Garrett did was wrong and outta line. He's damn luck he was only suspended 6 games. But I still think Rudolph said something that set him off. If that mutha fucker wants to talk first he needs tell everyone what he said to make Garrett lose his mind.

Since Dumbbell Swinney thinks Ohio State's # 11 in the country his Tigers should be ranked # 12 in the final AP poll. :heh:

I 100 percent think he said something racist.
