LeBron is a great player/coach.

But he might be equal to MJ in player evaluation.

Just because LeBron thinks Trezl is a better fit (if he actually thinks that) doesn’t make it so.

It was a joke. Lebron recruits who he thinks he can get and who he is close to. I’ve already said Ibaka was the best fit but everyone is underestimating Harrell. He is an undersized Dwight at the 4...look at his numbers but he will play the 5 at times and so will AD. Harrell was a very good rim protector especially at his size. High FG %. Solid defender. He will be will a very nice player off the bench.

Of course Ibaka was the best target...he shot like 40% from 3, has the size to play the 5 and great rim protector. That being said, we dont know if Ibaka was even an option for the Lakers...if so Tres was the best option available at the 4/5 for that price.

Shaneman, what is your summary of Thompson, and can he hit shots at least from the top of the key?

Last season he took on a bigger role and expanded his game. I’m not saying he is super comfortable at the top of the key but he can knock it down at times.

Great perimeter defender
Played a lot of the 5 in CLE

His only issue at times is playing the Big 5’s at times that have 4 or 5” at times

Batum is only 31 and he's a good.playmaking F when he's getting consistent minutes. Some team will pick him up. He'd be a good fit on contender, not so much a non playoff team.

No. Iblocka can hit the 3....I would have preferred him since they signed for the same amount but Harrell isn't a bad option either.

Your Bruins played a great game. To do what they did with a QB who had no experience...that was fairly impressive. If they had DTR, I think they win that game.

I think there was a small amount of Oregon not taking them seriously (especially with DTR out), but UCLA was never out of the game and fought back from a horrific start.

I wasn't real impressed with USC. I was looking for a dominant performance. The game was never in doubt, but they didn't dominate the Utes.

It was nice to have a game where I didn't have to worry about my blood pressure though. lol

I liked Serge too. Having said that, Harrell could also be a move for the future as well. He's only 26 and if things work out, could be a key piece to have around with AD (who's 27) when Lebron is gone.

I'm happy that the Lakers not only got better, but got younger as well.

As much as the Lakers could use him, I'm starting to agree with some others re: Bogi. If the Kings insist on both Kuz and KCP, I think I might want to pass. They can have one or the other, not both. Considering salaries, it would likely have to be KCP.
