WOW THAT'S A BULLSHIT PENALTY! Most biased refs in the NFL (San Fran) trying to bail out their shit team again.

I mean, I don't disagree, but I was referring to the big picture. For some reason the team that loses the SB gets snakebit the next year, injuries etc. Niners no exception.

Hell it's pretty hard to go to back to back SBs at all, unless you're Brady's Patriots.

Outside of them you had the Seahawks in XLVIII and XLIX, then it's all the way back to Denver and GB in XXXI thru XXXIII

In general, I agree. Injuries, luck both good and bad, etc. etc. I can let that go.

There are other aspects which there are no excuses.

Oh don't you dare start lecturing me on Baker Mayfraud..

Obviously I'm a Browns fan. But I'm not a Mayfield fan. Already mentioned he's missed a number of open wr's in the first half. But even with that he still went 19-28 for 228 & 2 TD's against the # 1 D in the league. Those aren't bad numbers.

Oh it's not you... it's @Stakesarehigh and I'm ASSUMING he was mocking me bashing Baker while Baker is actually having a pretty good game...

Stakes, I'm watching you....

Again, I don't disagree. But the big picture stuff means the little bad decisions of the coaches don't matter much.

And while it's part of being a fan to second guess the coach, we have 100 times less information than they do about what's going on with their players, on the field, the other team, etc. So in hindsight we can say "oh man he shoulda done this instead" but most of the time we don't know what we are talking about.

That's ballgame.

This year the scoring is WAY up, for almost every team. Hard to pinpoint why but maybe having to do with the lack of preseason and normal training camps?
