Yeah I'm not ready to call him a bust after only 8 games either. Not saying @tlance is wrong. I haven't seen any of Haskin's games.

They declared him a prospect after only 22 games, and really based only on that sophomore season. Huge TD numbers though. Again, doesn't have a lot around him yet, need to get the kids up to speed. Would help if their LT hadn't forced his way off the team.

Man, Clippers went down seemingly without a fight. They were just drained. Rockets-esque.

Obviously I always want to see former Buckeyes succeed in the NFL. And I'm not saying he's the answer for Washington at QB. But only 8 games started (10 games played) is a bit early to say he can't play.

I agree. Like I said, questionable pieces around him to work with and he still just led 27 unanswered against the Eagles to win the game.

Great point about what's around him right now. He shouldn't be blamed for the teams lack of offensive weapons.

They've added some, but they are still far too green. It will take some time.

I don't think the teams fortunes will change as long as that asshole Snyder owns them. A terrible owner can keep a team down. That jackass Jimmy Haslam is a good example of that.

Take my word for it or not. your choice.

But he will not prove to be an effective starter. And the sooner the Washington Football teams realizes it the better.

Because they have a potentially nasty defense that could win some games with anything approaching average QB play.

Did you watch the game?

The average starting field position for the last 2.5 quarters was like the Eagles 35 yard line.

That win was 100% credit to the defense.

I haven't even seen Haskins play a game yet. You've never been biased about things. And I know you want what's best for your team.

Unfortunately I know they need to give him a chance because they invested in him.

I just hope they see enough this season to move on.

Because there is enough talent in Washington for the team to make run at the division next year with some decent QB play.

I know Haksins isn't Rivera's guy. Is the current GM responsible for the pick? And what kinda timetable is Rivera gonna give him, will this year be enough to see if he's the future or not?

He will have to be really horrible for them to move on imo. A avg year by whatever their expectations are for him likely buy him one final year next season

I think he can be average. But I don't see him as a pro bowler or anything.

He can be a placeholder

You need some skill players but the D is solid.

This.

Chase Young is already a playmaker on defense.
