1000% agree and I hate those golfers. Like when I’m perfectly still, and you ask me to still move I’m like GTFO. Those kinds of guys are the worst and I’ll won’t play with them again.

I don’t care if you even talk while I’m hitting as long as the conversation was started before I address the ball I’m cool. I only get annoyed if somebody is standing too close in any direction. Other than that I’m hard to even bother. I just like ready golf and playing fast.
That is what I like. Good, knowledgeable players who have fun and don't freak out about every little thing. Not much bothers me on the course except slow play. I hate slow play and people not being ready to play when it is their turn. I don't care if you shoot 95 as long as you keep up.

Depends upon what kind of game you want to play. Not standing in someone's line is no different than not shouting during their backswing. It's basic etiquette. But if you want to be an asshole I can play that too.
From what you described, you just seem like the kind of guy who freaks under pressure. If you are seeing someone standing still in the periphery of your vision then you aren't focusing on your task and I would beat you................unless you are really good, then you'd probably still beat me.

Wait a minute, you are telling me the game that gets grumpy if you clap too loud does not like people standing near them too?

Shocked face.

I had a friend who played in a Pro Am event with Ray Floyd. He said Floyd came up to the group and said "I don't want to be here but I have to. This is my job and I'm going to be working on some things so I don't want a lot of chatter". My friend looked at him and laughed and said "Well' Ray, you are in the wrong group then".

Yeah the cheating thing was weird. Long story short, he was cited for cheating in a South African tour event and the media never got his side of the story. Then when he made the pga tour a journalist wrote a really bad piece about him. He’s never really spoke to the media since. He feels they’re manipulative (which they are) so he doesn’t give them the time of day. No journalist knows much about him because he shuts them out. But I’ve met him on 3 occasions and played three times with him this year. He’s an absolute great guy to be around.
Good to hear. Wasn't he accused by Mickelson at The Masters one year of scuffing his spikes arounnd the hole back when you couldn't fix a spike mark? Or maybe it was the other way around. I think VJ got caught using some kind of banned substance as well.

It's basic etiquette. No more, no less. Asking someone to move because they don't know where they're supposed to stand, is no different than telling them to stfu while you're hitting. Actually I've played games like that where basically anything is allowed to try to disrupt the concentration of your opponent. Many adult beverages were generally involved. That can be fun, but it can get out of hand and disrupt the games of others on the course if you get too loud. But you're just doing your usual trolling contrarian thing here assigning feelings to me that aren't there. This is nothing but a discussion about a basic golf ettqutte.

Good lord stop whining. I don't try to disrupt anyone. But you seem like someone who is mentally very fragile and would fall apart under pressure especially if you are seeing things out of the corner of your eye when you should be focused on your ball and the hole.. Sounds like someone looking for an excuse for a poor shot or missed putt.

I'm simply discussing a very basic golf etiquette concept. You otoh are assigning me make believe feelings to criticize because you're a troll and that is what trolls do when they cannot rebut what's actually posted.
