77 doesn't seem unreasonable for a rookie, but people need to slow the hype train on him a bit he was playing in the American conference against extremely weak competition. Memphis's o-line plus the shit defenses they were facing deserve most of the credit for making Gibson and Darrell Hendersons/Pollard(in 2018) yards per touch look godlike.

Agreed. I should've used green font for sarcasm.
I have Gibson in the same position he was in prior to Guice getting cut for DV from 5 months ago.
He'll have to be pretty damn impressive and outperform the RB room to get more than 5-6 touches per game his rookie season, imo.

I see him being the new Chris Thompson tbh.

would be great for fantasy if Jay Gruden was still there, lol

i'd imagine that's where he gets all of his snaps as well as long as Peterson stays healthy. What's funny is that everyone that is pumping Gibson is acting like Peterson isn't there anymore.

I get it, he's old, getting close to being a has-been, but as long as he's suiting up and active, he'll be the only RB worth putting in a starting lineup as a RB3 type with some TD upside that you can draft as an RB4 right now

If he can play 16, and be the new Chris Thompson...that ain't half bad. I do expect a little more than that, in a year or so, but that's satisfactory if thats all it is
No you're right , its not. Its a role, hes perfect for.

I just see him being used as a receiver. He was a gadget guy in college. We've seen some guys be better pro's. But more often than not, we salivate at the intangibles(kalen ballage), and wait for something to happen.....

He is 6foot 228. He got 33 carries in college, at Memphis!.....thats a red flag for me..........

Jaylen samuels anyone? When your're not good enough to be the starting RB on your college team, or get a ton of use, but now, your gonna be the guy or 1/2 the guy in the pros? I'll take the not happening bet almost every time....

Kamara is the outlier when it comes to these types of RBs, not easily replicated.

And Kamara landed in NO.
- better QB
- better offense
- better HC/play calling

Not like WAS is magically going to be awesome and score a ton of pts this yr just cause they got Rivera instead of Gruden

Cowboys getting Griffen to go along with Lawrence, Aldon Smith, and potentially Gregory???

Haskins, Wentz, and Jones, you've been put on notice.

Front seven looking pretty strong. Still have some doubts about that secondary though. Offense is stacked, on paper. Fingers crossed

Browns' Nick Chubb is primed for rushing title in 2020 season

In case anyway was interested. :D

47 yards from a rushing title with a shitty coach and below average OL. You would think it's only up for him...I think he is going to have an amazing year. I'm trying not to be a homer here but his running style is just something I haven't seen in a long time. I feel like he is Derrick Henry at his best with better vision.

47 yards away, but 8 games without Hunt, plus a few where Hunt wasnt fully integrated into the game plan. Ain't gonna have that luxury this season

Yeah but in Stefanski's system we could see even more rush attempts. Hunt will get his carries no doubt but I think 2 RB/2 TE's will be used a lot...Hunt also in the slot. I don't think this should really hurt Chubb too much. I think what helps Chubb is his threat to go 70 on any given play like Saquon. If I was a Saquon owner with a good pass-catching backup I wouldn't feel threatened. Now, if this doesn't affect his production, will it affect it enough to lose the rushing title? Possibly but who really knows with Hunt anyway...can we even trust he won't mess up again. It's been proven you can win the title with around 270 carries which would be 17/game BUT on a low year...I think if the top RB's stay healthy it might take 1600-1700 to win it..maybe higher. It difficult seeing him get over 300 imo.

I'm interested to know what RB's have won the rushing title having a very good backup as well. Chris Johnson? He had LenDale White..but I feel if your Rb1 is producing at an extremely high level you keep feeding especially with this Stefanski system.
