if it ever were to take place in Austin.. We would need to do a SportsHoopla meet up. We can all take turns making fun of @romeo212000

Romeo is a good guy. What I'm looking forward to is the week before the game when the hate really starts to run hot. I try to be as level headed as I can about that game. I've seen too many of them turn out the opposite of what the "experts" predicted.

I was with you until this part.
Normal visitor alotment in Norman and Austin.

Let it be lopsided.

That's OK too. It would be great to hear DKR quiet as a church when OU was making the game look like the Spencer Rattler Invitational Track Meet. You could yell "Boomer" on one side of the stadium and I'd yell "Sooner" back at you. :suds:

Saw that.

Lets say that the RRSO is played.
Why would we play it in the Cotton Bowl with no Fair??

Seems like the perfect time to change something up.

Bingo, F that dump, shouldn’t be played there in the middle of the freggin day anymore anyway, times are a changin.

Nighttime game, 8:00 kick, Have Riley and Herman meet on the OK/TX border for the televised coin flip to determine who gets the home field (on campus only) to begin this new era and never play at that venue again.

You. Are. Welcome.

I hear a lot of OU fans say they'd love to play Texas in Norman but I hear very few Texas fans say they want to play OU in Austin. Hmmmm. I wonder why that is.

Because we see what your sooner losers do to the city of Dallas... we already have enough underpass campers on the streets as is.

But I never wanted this game as a home and home. it belongs at the cottonbowl. I think most Horns fans are in agreement, not like there's a huge turnout for bball games in Norman with horns fans either. Nobody wants to go to Norman

They are also probably the only team that has allowed 8 yards per play in those years.

2019 offense was Lincoln best work imo. Hurts was well below the Murray and Baker tier's in his system but he still had that offense humming.

Which brings up Rattler.. yes he can sling it, but I have a pretty good feeling he will have a lot of ups and downs the way Spencer Sanders did at okie light this past season. Even in HS he had a way of turning the ball over.

That second one is in southeast Oklahoma part of the Talamina drive. Absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful country most people would have no clue was part of Oklahoma.

Looks like a mid fall Appalachia drive. Very nice!

Sanders development probably took a hit this offseason. As a Freshman he was comparable to Deshaun Watson. At times electric and at times a Freshman. He needed the offseason to turn the corner and with Rattay as his new QB coach I had hopes that he would. But he only got in a couple of spring practices before everything was shut down and now summer camp (and next season) is iffy at best. Normally elite quarterbacks who start early make a jump from their freshman to sophomore years. If he can, I'd love it but this obviously isn't a normal year so it's possible he takes a step back.

It really sucks because this is our year. Skill position talent isn't a problem and defensive depth is better now than in the last half decade so he has the potential to do great things the rest of his career but we're 2011 loaded right now and as mentioned OU is breaking in a new QB (who won't be a new QB the rest of his college career) so yeah, this was our, and his chance to knock them off their pedestal.

Alabama, USC, Tennessee, Ohio State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Florida State, UCLA, Oregon, etc. would beg to differ with you. Seems like it's the Horns who are the only team in the country that doesn't welcome the opportunity to play Oklahoma in Norman and let OU return the favor by playing in their home stadium. If it weren't for OU wanting to retain the OU/Texas rivalry even on terms that a lot of OU fans would like to seem some changes in, the Big XII would be h.i.s.t.o.r.y.

I'm with you. This was Texas most talented team since the 2000s. Not saying they couldn't drop an egg again but this team has a chance to really be good. I think they would win the conference if this season plays out. But if they cancel it, despite Sam coming back for a 2021 season.. Ossai, Sterns, Cosmi are for sure gone to the NFL next April just based off projections. And who knows who else would get a grade in a wide open Draft?

Let me know how many times a team has replaced their entire coaching staff and won a P5 conference. Hermanus is in life support right now and is just hoping for 9 wins and a decent bowl.

I was referring to the UCLA team that had that guy.....what's his name? Troy Aikman. Yeah...Troy Aikman. If you ever see that whining, turncoat SOB, ask him to show you his National Championship ring. What's it say on it? What a POS. Even dissed the coach he was playing for in the NFL who helped him leave Norman when he couldn't be the starter anymore. Aikman could use some of that Jalen Hurts class.

Just to be clear, OU didn't get to beat Aikman after he ran off. That would have been poetic justice. But UCLA was a good program back then under Donahue.
