Such a close game last time, Wisky should've won then, I think they will this time.

I feel fairly confident that Wisky take this one...... Badgers will be out for blood..... considering what happened last time..... (even though it was funnier than hell)

Most importantly in this game, is the fact that you can actually get PAID $75 to go. This is fairly embarrassing for the B1G

The Big Ten Championship is Looking for ‘Event Seat-Fillers’ | Kegs 'n Eggs Blog

That's not true. The fact that anybody believed this rumor just proves how insanely stupid people are. The stadium is nearly sold out, and you guys think the B1G has to pay people? There were 20,000 general public tickets sold, 15,000 MSU tickets, 13,000 Wisconsin tickets sold, and 4,000 student tickets sold (combined). That's 52,000 seats out of 65,000, and it doesn't include corporate sponsors and their boxes (just, a guess, but that is probably about 3,000) or the people itching to buy general public tickets that were unable to the first time around.

Looks like Smart is right... Chicago Tribune says the same thing:

Big Ten says it won't pay you to attend its championship game - chicagotribune.com

I like this part:

In July, the Big Ten announced that general public tickets for the game sold out in two hours. But Wisconsin did not fill its allotment, returning 2,000 tickets, so those were made available Wednesday morning.

Wisconsin fans say they’ve learned to pass on allotments in favor of cheaper tickets on the open market.

Which is true... there are always opportunities to buy tickets cheaper. Probably a bunch of Nebraska fans that bought tickets before the season. ;)
