This is pretty cool.

....I had to sling it to my TV to get the full effect.

Yeah -- that was the most complete breakdown I have ever seen.

It goes thru pretty much every stat and splits them off into their respective positions, using advanced analytics.

The fact Jordan has 20 of the 100 highest advanced scoring games in the past 40 years and hasn't played in 20 years is absurd.

1.MJ

2.Kobe

3. LeBron

LeBron does not have that determination to win at all cost mentality and attitude that MJ and Kobe had. If he did, the Heat never lose a title.

I thought you were supposed to stay on the CFB boards...when it comes to NBA you have a very low I.Q....I’m trying to help you out

That is the one stat he was higher, but Jordan is ranked #4 all time in assists per game for Shooting Guards with at least 500 games.

Every analytic they use for today's game, they broke them all down and compared Jordan and Lebron. It really isn't that close, even if you don't look at championships. They broke down the 100 best analytical games in the past 40 years. Jordan has 20 of the top 100 games. Lebron has 3 of the top 100 games. Jordan's 69 point, 18 rebound game is the highest scoring game in the last 40 years.

Here is a complete breakdown by player, by position, including all the analytics used today:
was that chosen so Wilt wouldn't have all 100?

Being pretty passive-aggressive hasn't helped Lebron either.

But KD has taken that crown from him.
Yup.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this already....

But, the last dance didn't change the way I view Jordan nor Lebron.

Because, we didn't seed anything we didn't already know, assume about the type of person/player Jordon was.

He was a dick.

He IS the GOAT.

As far as I'm concerned, the biggest winner was Kobe Bryant.

Forget Kobe the man.

I'm talking about Kobe the player.

I HATED him for all the reasons that I love Jordan.

Maybe it's the accident...

Maybe it's time and distance...

But, I find myself appreciating him a whole lot more nowadays.

No.

He was not better than Jordan nor Lebron.

But, we witnessed greatness...

It only goes back to 1983. I'm not sure why it was 1983. They mentioned something in the video, but I don't remember what it was. Something about stat compilation I think?

......and in High School....

.....and in College.

If he's not the Goat, he has to be top 3.

I have him 2.a, Lebron 2.b with the chance to rise to #1.

Exactly right. I didn't even think about his pre-NBA years.

Dude was a MONSTER.

Hell, he was an NBA champ, scoring champ and 3 time league MVP before he even went to the Lakers.

i was only joshing. don't care to delve into their methods. just saw that 69 points 18 rebound game was first and figured a guy that averaged 50 and 25 for a season would probably throw the curve off. only came here at the end. find most debates about who's best to be pointless. granted, i know everyone is bored for discussion, lack of sports, and all.

Curry is a super good guy, but it seems like he's got more detractors than anyone. It doesn't help to be a good guy.
Exactly. Look at Rodman. He’s pretty much an asshole, especially in his personal life, but everyone loves him.

What you said re: Kobe...you sound like me talking about MJ.

I didn't like MJ. I watched him because he was a great player, but I didn't like him and didn't really appreciate what I was seeing.

I even went as far as to say he was ruining the game. :L

That's why, even though I've not been a fan of his, I'm determined to appreciate what we're seeing with Lebron (especially now that he's a Laker lol).

Yup.

I remember being completely bewildered when Bill Walton was voted a top 50 greatest player of all time.

Then, someone pointed me towards his High School and College stats and achievements and I promptly shut the Fuck up....lol

Had he not suffered catastrophic injuries, he likely still wouldn't have been in the KAJ tier...

....and that's saying something because Bill was no joke.

Winning matters.

You know who was a very talented player that nobody talks about because he was a leaking, open asshole?

Derrick Coleman.

Asshole-like tendencies will only be overlooked if you are a winner.

*See Draymond Green.

A healthy Walton was no joke, guy was a beast. Unfortunately he broke his foot about 20 times. Exaggerating but it seemed that way.

Heavy is the head that wears the crown.

In both guys cases, they received the most backlash when they were too of the food chain.

LeBron gets more because of a few reasons...

1. He was anointed before he even graduated High School.

2. He's been elite longer.

3. LeBron is the joiner of Super Teams. Durant carries that label, not Curry.

I disagree with the backlash part.

MJ definitely got some at different points in time because of the gambling and he obviously couldn’t ever go anywhere in public. But by and large he was protected and I don’t think he got nearly as much backlash as LeBron does.

Again, because I think for the most part, people tend to look for reasons to like MJ and to justify his actions while it is almost the opposite for LeBron.

In the public eye coming off as arrogant and boring has cost LBJ a lot of fans.

Arrogant? Yes.

Boring?

Lebron gets a lot of backlash because he's often his own worst enemy when it comes to how he's perceived. But he's not boring. If he was no one would really talk about him. lol

Yep. Objectively speaking, Lebron hasn't done anything near as bad or outlandish as guys in the past, he just happens to have his career in the age of social media where anyone and everyone can trash anyone for any reason, real or perceived.

I just mean boring from the perspective that he doesn’t really do anything scandalous off the court. Aside from being a social activist, there is really nothing controversial about LeBron the man.

MJ and Kobe certainly had their share of controversy.
