I understand this is a forum and I guess what people do but who the hell cares what the media or fans say about Haskins? They aren't knowledgeable enough to give rational opinions. We saw the same thing with the guy that was here a couple of years ago. He wasn't any good, he couldn't learn, he wasn't mobile enough, half ass QBs who had no where near his ability were just as good. Nonsense! That guy was a viable NFL QB. All those people were wrong. They very possibly are wrong again. Maybe it is just me but you can't get all worked up about a guy that has one year and seven games under his belt. Another couple of years and we'll have a better idea.

I think we are all smart enough to know and I am not talking just about politics, the media throws shit at the wall to see what sticks. There isn't any real reporting anymore.

The answer is... you're both wrong. Wentz is an established quality QB who just needs to stay healthy. He's way ahead of both Haskins and Jones, at this point - but we're comparing a 4 year vet to 1 year vets. Jones had better stats than Haskins, but by the end of the season, I'd have rated them about even, and I think Haskins has the higher ceiling of the 2 - especially as he's significantly improved his body and mobility.

His pocket awareness is horrible, he eyes down receivers i.e. probably bc he cant make it through progression, he does not manipulate the safeties with his eyes bc he locks down receivers, the dude is zero mobility inside or outside the pocket, and does he make any of the calls at the line? doubt it

and lets not revise history. Gruden had a lot of flaws.... play calling was not one of them. Cousins thrived Haskins faltered.

have you ever played the game at any level above H.S.? Are you a professional scout? What credentials do you have that make you a scout officianato? I'm certain you do not know what has gone into Haskins development to this point and I'm certain you never will. Give it a rest on Haskins until he has a full 16 game played schedule under his belt.

trolls dont do that . he knows he cant back those claims with any real evidence .

when haskins fails he will proclaim he is some great prognosticator but if he succeeds he will move the goal posts to cover up his misjudgment

while i and others concede he could bust out we are willing to let his career continue to prove or disprove that notion on the field .

and we wont be in position to draft a lawrence or fields next year and of course there will be new "cant miss : qbs coming in the future

why do you think I have so much resentment towards skinsdad? Been following the boards for 20 years and have seen some real good posters chased away here who have been posting for 20+ years bc of some guy on a power trip

Haskins is a better qb already than Daniel Jones, and will most likely be a better qb than Wentz this season or next at the latest.

wentz had a bright future in front of him before he got injured, but now he’s a gunshy loser who, when ertz is double teamed, cant find anybody else to through to.

The best part about it is that eagle fans, like the philly fan who trolls here pretending to not be bananaman, will defend wentz until they are blue in the face, despite all evidence to the contrary.

like cowboy fans did with perennial loser / stat padder Tony Romo.
