So far no one has mentioned politics ( ok maybe a little ) , as long as you keep the politics out then go for it

you should be able to talk about this without having politics involved
I haven't checked but I wonder if Von Miller is well yet.
yes he posted he tested negative on twitter

Keep politics out and you should be fine . No one has gone political yet ( well maybe once ) but I haven’t mentioned any parties or anything nor has anyone else .

now VA shut down March 23 which seems to be in line with other states

On the surface this tweet doesn’t fit but it talks about what could be needed to play

The question is if you want testing ,and the NFL pays for it , should they do it.?

keep in mind the NFL would need significantly more tests

Very serious question here. I hear people say that testing is the key. Why? Because it leads me to more questions?

1- Which COVD test are we referring to...molecular or serological? The Latest on Coronavirus Testing: New Methods, Accuracy, and Availability- GoodRx

2- If a person has a serological test, what then?

3- If a person has a molecular test, what then?

4- How can we prohibit the movement of a free person when the possibility exists of false positives in the molecular test?

5- We know that you can be asymptomatic and still pass on the COVD. We also don’t know if there is an actual immunity to the virus. So what do we do if people can’t become immune to the virus? What do we do with people who are asymptomatic?
What if immunity to covid-19 doesn’t last?

6- Who gets tested and when? How often? Can we admit it isn’t reasonable to test every person who goes in public every single day?

All a test does it tell you who has had the virus (serological) or who has the active virus (molecular). We may have destroyed the US economy over a virus that we can’t become immune to, has no cure (common cold, flu, cancer), can be caught from people who do not have any idea they have the virus and may have caught it today when they had a negative test yesterday. The people who are at a high risk should stay home, if they choose to. If you under 60, there is almost no chance of death.

This may sound callous, but if you are 90 and die of COVD, it may just be Mother Nature telling you it is time. While it is tragic, if you have a weak immune system, this is also Mother Nature.

I tink the 'testing is key' part relates more to getting an accurate handle on how many people actually have it. Apparently its hitting nursing homes and correctional facilities harder than oriiginally thought. There's also a few peeps saying its affecting the 40 yr old n younger crowd more than what was originally thought.

Thank you for the response.

I just don’t see how testing is key with all the other questions I asked. I think I like answers to problems instead of problems.

What we have done to the economy worries me far more than COVD. Suicide is expected to go up by 30+ percent, 15000more there. Domestic violence increase of 20%, so that ruins double lives. We also know people who have serious medical conditions are not going to the doctor. There is no telling how many will die because they were forced to wait.

Nursing homes I get. Prisons I get but don’t feel to badly for them. I don’t buy the 40n younger thing and feel that is being pushed with an agenda. I could be wrong.

The latest stats I saw is 80% of all deaths from the virus are from people 65 or older

Skins will be bad this year but not bad enough to pick in the top three next draft. Maybe top five but not any higher.

I know VA let restaurants stay open at least a couple weeks longer than MD and DC.

And to quarantine those people who test positive, so they don't spread to more people - who spread to more people. Otherwise, we risk going back to square one.

So we quarantine the infected. Makes sense.

How about the asymptomatic?
Where do we quarantine them?
Is it a forced governmental quarantine?
What about their families?
How long do we quarantine them?
Do we force people to take the test?

The important thing is testing people that are going to have to be in close contact with others at work and can't wear masks - like football players. Whoever tests positive - regardless of symptoms - has to be quarantined. A common sense approach. If you want to keep your job, take the test.

I don't know - whoever can carry it? Do I look like a scientist? How about trying to use common sense?

OK...so we do a viral test. You have now stated that person goes into quarantine. How long? Where is the quarantine? What if a person violates the quarantine? Who pays for the quarantine? How about family members?

When do we test them? Is it everyday before work?

So you are asking healthy people to take a test or threatening them with being unable to provide for their family. Who is paying for the test? What if a company with a 5% profit margin has to apply these tests? That company is essentially done.

So a person is quarantined because he or she has anti bodies ?
A person who has antibodies can have some immunities and if that person got it months ago he or she isn’t a danger .

how about we try this common sense , let’s research the problem , and find solutions instead of knee jerk reactions

before you take a persons rights away perhaps we should know things our scientists don’t really know

I'm talking about using some f'n common sense. I'm not interested in getting into details with you on a football board. Don't keep asking me questions. Got it? Good.

Huh???????? Obviously, you're trying to play a game of gotcha, and I'm not interested.
