But you are going with IFs here as to what happens if he signs with Miami...yet you dismiss his success in NO as he could not have known he would get to play due to a Brees injury.

comes down to you now being happy he spurned Miami. No more, no less.
Sure there are ifs but the fact was he would have been the starter in Miami as Fitz wasn't signed yet and in NO he was only being offer to ride the bench. He was lucky that Brees went down that is also a fact...

This is all speculation and why on earth would any NFL team hand him a 4 year deal when no one had a clue if he could hold up with his bad knee or even be productive in general. If he was in a position to barter why weren't there any other offers out there last year??? Salguero for the most part is an idiot who thinks that he knows it all but knows nothing. Ask anyone in Miami.
Dolphins were the only team last year with a opening for starting QB, thus they tried to use that as leverage to get a below market signing.. Salguero was right on the money about what was happening and what would happen to boot. You really have a problem admitting your wrong, don't you? Now your trying to deflect by bringing in another angle. You slandered Bridgewater because you were butt hurt he won't sign for peanuts. According to you he should of just be happy as hell he had a chance to start. You probably think he should have paid to have that honor, no way that he gets another shot at a starting job. Yet somehow he did get a starting gig for 45 million after the 12.5 million contract for one year the Saints gave him, yet here you persist on saying he should have settled for 10 million for 2 years of service to the Dolphins.

I have no problem admitting I'm right or wrong but in this case I'm not wrong. You are speculating that the Fins didn't offer something better but somehow you must be right because your word is God? Gotcha I'll believe everything you say from now on....

If bridge was so good and sought after last year you are actually trying to insinuate that no other team would have sniffed around? Come on don't be naive most teams unless they have a star are always looking to get better at QB.

Why would anyone be hurt over missing on bridge give me a break? Sure it would have been nice to see where he was at with hopes that he could turn the corner and be healthy but I maybe shed a tear for a millisecond. I get that you don't value a starting QB gig only 32 of them in the world but what do I know.

If you want to decide your future on luck go to vegas and see how that works out....I have seized my moments and it's turned out quite well thank you. Bridge was very fortunate glad it worked out but I still believe he left cash on the table.

Just SP's little gang otherwise most of the people I chat with are fine. We don't always agree which is normal for a site such as this but this group seems to show a lot of vag when you disagree with them.

I wish Miami was rebuilding for years but you should know that gase wasn't trying to tank he kept signing older vets in an attempt to win. That is not rebuilding that's idiocy....

Take the blinders off. You're entire lineage is embarrassed.

You really want to double down on your horseshit? I'm not speculating on offers from the Dolphins in the least. I go by what was offered in dollars and cents, guarantees and such. Not some mythical offer that was supposedly better then the Saints in theory, but no figures or data to back that up, in fact likely no real offer at all. We are talking PR for face saving measures that the Dolphins put out.
You got a major problem admitting you were wrong. Got to laugh at how you like to throw in personal accomplishments just for the hell of it. Probably all bullshit judging from the way you twist shit here on SportsHoopla.
Bridgewater made the logical move as Salguero predicted, it worked out great. He has a great opportunity and his future is secure to boot with the money he is going to make even if he fails.
I've never seen a poster more wrong continue to double down like you have, well maybe PE1 is close but I give you the crown.

The point is you don't know but claim to.....and call only me out. Even if the money was even he walked away from a starting gig that is a fact.

Like I said I'm happy for the guy it got lucky no problem admitting that but you can't seem to get over this luck...and yet I have a problem. Gotcha.

Not sure what your referring to, but guessing it the supposed second offer from the Dolphins. My stand is their is no data showing a legit offer was made at all, regardless of the PR effort from the Dolphins. Logically it makes no sense for Bridgewater to turn down more money and a starting gig, thus I file it under nonsense. You disagree with that? I'd like to see you try. Come on now just say it Just admit you were WRONG! You can do this.

Yep....that's the Browns from 2008ish-2015.

Needed the complete tank we started in 2016 in the worst way.

Coleman are you thinking Harris DE? Harris is looking like a bust but otherwise Grier has been pretty good in the draft even in later rounds he's finding players.

Sure it would be great if they ended up at 1 or 2 but winning does have benefits as it breeds success and creates that winning culture. Also helps in FA which shows how they did better with that this past offseason. During the past two regimes they would never be able to sign guys like Jones or Van Noy unless they doubled the salary.

Minkah they didn't want to move but he was whining had to go. If anything they hopefully replace him with a similar player on a rookie deal but they didn't want to move him wasn't in the plan. Tunsil they held out and received a stupid offer. You have to take stupid offers when they are throw at you.
coleman reference was Corey Coleman. a disaster pick Browns made after trading down and not taking Wentz. What is forgotten is they did pick up many solid players from that deal like Peppers, Nassib, and ward off top of my head (and there were others).

Not sure winning one season means much of anything as far as the next season. and FAs will go where the money is in the NFL. Browns acquired the top G and C (Zeitler/Tretter) coming off 0-16.

sure, they cannot get the old guys looking to win, but rebuilding teams don't want that type of player.

don't know much about the Minkah situation as not there, but he's the type you hope you get with a 1st rounder and they had him. Make it work.

agree on Tunsil.......almost had to do that one.

But he also knew Brees was 40 and injury (or even retirement end of season) was a real possibility. also probably comfortable and believed in the O far more.

I didn't know @HaroldSeattle and @dtgold88 were part of my "gang". Heck didn't know I had a gang. But while I greatly respect them each. We often have vastly different opinions. Heck so do me and @NWPATSFAN
This kid is so lost in his own tornado of bs, he misses the majority of what goes on here at the hoop.

Haha he still thinks it's only two of us who constantly call him out for his flip flopping.

Not his fault he's one of these new math babies.

Yep and I'm 6'-4", 265#, run a 4.0 forty and bench small Buicks like everyone else on the hoop.

Too lazy to go research it but I'm pretty sure he's barely 30 if that? Could swear he let on to his age when he was on his campaign to squash HT single handedly.
