Not putting your head down while tackling has to be a huge point of emphasis, I’ve seen several one on one tackles today where you would expect a lower your head hard hit and it hasnt happened .

They also need to get and keep some noticeable names. Like Landry Jones, he’s still fresh from being a house hold name from college.

so they need to find the guys who just didn’t quiet cut it at NFL level but we’re big names in college.

on the other side of that, getting NFL names that are on their way out of the league. Who are household names while in the NFL, just for marketing purposes. Example, if someone like Phillip Rivers doesn’t get a starting job or job he wants at nfl level and he only has a year or two left anyways

I don't think there's.much incentive for a Philip Rivers to risk his health in the XFL.

It’ll be big to get a few seasons in to establish some sort of history and attachment from fans to teams

Yea, if the first year shows any success, they will need more teams to be introduced, at least two.

Rivers could make more sitting on an NFL bench than he could getting killed in the XFL though. A lot players will weigh that option.

The one thing I dislike is the generic names of the teams. They feel like names you’d pick on create a team for madden.

LA and Houston offenses seem a bit more polished than the previous two.

Rivers could make more sitting on an NFL bench than he could getting killed in the XFL though. A lot players will weigh that option.

$100,000 payday for each win....

After 15 years as a starting QB in the NFL, I don't think $100,000 would mean much to Rivers.

That's why we see practice squad guys here. That 100,000 means a lot more when you've never had a legit NFL contract.

I would like to see the team logos on midfield. Hopefully this is just a debut thing.

I think they should go to non nfl markets.
