Rivers could make more sitting on an NFL bench than he could getting killed in the XFL though. A lot players will weigh that option.

True, but in theory he might still want to play but at a slower more old man pace for him. A real QB like that could light it up and have fun and have less chance of a permanent injury. I bet his wife would prefer that. Plus he moved the whole fam to Florida. Tampa Bay Vipers? He did move to North Florida but maybe Buccaneers. Maybe Buccs and then Vipers.

The one thing I dislike is the generic names of the teams. They feel like names you’d pick on create a team for madden.

Don't care much for the NY Guardians. It's like they asked a bunch of Marvel fan boys to name the team

Yeah I thought what it may seem like if the nfl started and used the names they had.

they’d all seem generic too. But I guess I thought it would have been a good idea to give team names that related to their locations.

They also need to get and keep some noticeable names. Like Landry Jones, he’s still fresh from being a house hold name from college.

so they need to find the guys who just didn’t quiet cut it at NFL level but we’re big names in college.

on the other side of that, getting NFL names that are on their way out of the league. Who are household names while in the NFL, just for marketing purposes. Example, if someone like Phillip Rivers doesn’t get a starting job or job he wants at nfl level and he only has a year or two left anyways

I was only half joking and exaggerating when I said it was nice to not see the refs talk for 5 minutes on whether or not a penalty happened and then another 5 minutes to review the play and decision

Such a shame. Deangelo Henderson was such a great player in high school. Had great time potential. But was a complete retard. Ended up at coastal Carolina for like 6 years
