I always liked him, congrats on his retirement. It will be interesting to see who they get to replace him. Maybe Bobby Petrino
Shut your whore mouth!Fickell is the obvious choice, but if he doesn't leave, I'd throw everything else at Brian Hartline.
I can see MSU doing the bleh move of hiring Narduzzi though.
Cincinnati isn't a bad gig. You've just got to build a team to beat UCF and Memphis.I don't think Fickell is gonna go. He just brought in a legit elite recruit at QB, has brought in some really nice high-end transfers, and is on the path to possibly becoming another Boise State. This would be a reclamation project for a guy who has it made right now. Better offers could be coming in the not-so-distant future.
Narduzzi would make more sense. He seems to be in a rut at Pitt, and he obviously has a stronger tie to MSU than Fickell.
Rowin right up the Red Cedar.I heard @broncosmitty is leading a campaign for PJ Fleck
Yes and continued mediocrityNot reading thru this whole thing.
But don't you think they just promote from within.
Solves a lot of problems.

Well, it sure looks like Dantonio may have done that on purpose. Wait until all the coaching moves around the country were done and settled. Leave the day before signing day. Give the temp position to a guy who's been there a while in Tressel. I could absolutely see MSU just giving it to Tressel and pissing off the entire fanbase. Not reading thru this whole thing.

To who? This will forever be known as the "Dantonio Killshot game"
“and the Wolverines have really put it on little brother”
Mostly me lol. Because that entire game every TD after we got to 20 points I kept screaming "dantonio killshot" in celebration. But it seemed unlikely to come true until magically yesterday it did in disastrous fashion. To who?
