I LOVE seeing this guy retire, but only because I think he was a great coach. Unfortunately, I think he saw the handwriting on the wall in terms of his success in EL. MSU needs new blood, and I hope they get a lousy coach that sets them back many decades

He would be an idiot to take it. After reading the articles it sounds like MSU is screwed. Their “bagman” turned rat and all the dirty laundry is being laid out.

This job is about as toxic as the Baylor job was. They are probably going to have to go the retired coach route for a couple of years.

The day before signing day. Damn! No one in their right mind is signing if they have other viable options.

Well, IF Frost can get NU back to winning more than it loses, and if Fleck continues kicking tail like I believe he will, this could balance out the Divisions quite a bit with the West having MORE good teams than the East, now.

Minny, UW, Iowa, Nebby & the others taking turns having a good year would give the West 5 teams that could regularly be getting votes in the polls.

The East just has OSU, PSU and Michigan with a crappy Harbaugh as coach now? Oh, maybe Indiana?

I just don't understand the plan here. Even if Luke Fickell comes; what is he going to take his whole staff? Ignore the entire class that he just signed? Accept the Dantonio garbage class that he just didn't have a part in signing? Why would fickell do that?
