What horrible timing? Dude was burnt out but why wait
Be that as it may, why today of all days? Why not earlier??The man was unwilling to change his staff to address a putrid offense.
It will take 3, hopefully, recruiting cycles to bring in kids that can run a more dynamic offense. A lot will depend on who they replace him with.
Yep, like pretty much every B1G coach that isn't fired. They all get cushy administrative gigsNot retiring, believe it or not. According to the radio, he will stay on with the university in some fashion while working on "Special Projects".
I heard @broncosmitty is leading a campaign for PJ FleckI'm guessing this means wholesale changes to that coaching staff. Going to be a very interesting year in EL.
Good riddance IMO. Guy was a total dick and his teams played dirty.Regardless, his teams out-preformed expectations. This is good news for the Wolverines, but bad news for college football. I wish him well in future endeavours!!!

He left because his nuts were going to be in a ringer

Brett Beilema is brushing up his resume AND trophy wifeWhat a terrible time for a coaching search though. Most of the staffs have been set, moves have been made. Really awful to be looking for a coach right now. And who's going to want to take over the program in the state that it is, with now potential NCAA problems looming?
It's still a P5 school in a premier conference with recent history of success. I'm not saying they're gonna pull in an elite level coach, but I'm sure there will be plenty of interested candidates from the G5 ranks. What a terrible time for a coaching search though. So you are saying they have an NFL coach lined up? I kind of doubt thatIt may coincide with the NFL season being over. I doubt he gets forced out without some kind of plan already in place. The MSU class was already signed so no mass departures of recruits.
This does scream for a change in transfer policies.
I don’t think they waited long enough to make this move.
Apparently.Did he resign?
That’s funny coming from a Michigan fan.Good riddance IMO. Guy was a total dick and his teams played dirty.
