The crux that I took away from what Shaq meant was they hadn't talked IN PERSON in 4 years, not that they never talked. He mentioned they had texted and that he texted Shareef the day before like you said. That's actually entirely believable. I've got friends that I haven't spoken to in person for years. Everything is thru social media or texts. But it goes back to Shaq's larger point; that HE was too busy. It wasn't that they weren't actually friends. They had much love for each other and communicated in different ways. But Shaq himself devoted himself too much to work to actually make time to spend with Kobe in person and he is deeply regretful now.
Hey, now that I know the context of the shove, I'm team Elfrid.
Define fight? Is anyone else sick of seeing fights at least once a week in an nba game. I remember 10 years ago you never saw as many fights as you do now. What do you guys think has changed that there’s more fights.

Well I consider pushing and shoving and am not a fan of it. This is one main reason a lot of people are turned off to the nba. There's only been 1 fight this year. A little pushing and shoving isn't a fight

Thunder are now only 1 game from the 5 seed.
Russ is playing on another level. He finally realizing he doesn't need to shoot 3's. Shooting % is up and 3 pt attempts are down. Unfortunately, Harden been really bad lately.
Russ entered the game avg 32,8, & 8 on 52% shooting this month. Starting with their game against the lakers, he only attempted four 3's in his last 6 games. This may be one of the best months of his career when it comes to efficiency
Looks like the Clippers are trying to get that JAG, Baynes, to shore up the center position.Yeah that's what I was thinking as well. Wonder of Ainge does anything to improve the C issues (or maybe I should say lack of a C) Boston has right now?
I think it has way more to do with China and split interest.Well I consider pushing and shoving and am not a fan of it. This is one main reason a lot of people are turned off to the nba.

Let's see what ratings look like after the Superbowl.
As I said before, you clearly place human life and the value of life well over a game or any game. There is a grieving period and this loss is going to take you awhile for several reasons. One is that it makes you look at your own mortality and how blessed you have been to be in the land of the living. it's been five years in May since I lost my mother, I miss her much, but she said many times to continue living and make life what it should be for life belongs to us. When the grieving period is due, you will move forward. For me, I cherish all the times I took my mother out to eat, trips and etc and that's how Kobe would want us to remember him. Vaya Con Dios
Sad that Buddy Hield not changing his number
Understood and I agree 100% - I lost my mother five years ago - and as tough as it was - I also had to remember she was 90 years old and 7 months - She had an incredibly great and long life. In comparison she out live Kobe by 39 years and outlive Gianna by 77 years so there really is no comparison here - At the end of a day - some one responded at the end of a show to a questionI lost my brother almost 2 years ago now, and new things trigger emotions every day, Kobe's death included (they were both born in '78). If his son had died too? Horrifying. The way that tore apart our family for months (and will always linger), I can't help but be sympathetic to any family that goes through something similar. Add onto that an entire city that loved him as a public figure, not to mention national and international fans, and it becomes too big to comprehend.
