Certainly looks that way on paper. Joe Montana is a happy man.

Would be very on brand for this organization to have 3 blocked FG's against the Titans or some similarly idiotic thing to happen in the playoffs that is non-predictive and inexplicable.

We're on to the Texans, in other words.
I just wanted the Ravens gone. It'd be nice for an O.G. Super Bowl team to get back there for the first time in like 50 years?

Ravens are still a great team it's just the media hype got out of control and over hyped them.

The biggest thing is they fell behind 14 points against the wrong kind of team. The weakness to the Raven's offense is that it's not really designed to come back from behind and they fell behind against a team that runs the ball all the time and shortens the game while the Raven's themselves want to run the ball a lot which further shortens the game.

They still might've been fine but blowing those two what should've been easy 4th down conversions and that Jackson fumble were back breaking.

I didn't think the Titans played a particularly great game defensively but they still played well by making sure Jackson had to run laterally most of the time but their pass defense had a number of holes that allowed Jackson to complete some wide open throws on 3rd down.

Or maybe the Ravens are overrated as F all, have a QB that will not likely play next season in the fullest, and beat up on one of the worst NFL schedules this year...

But sure.. wrong kind of team.

Like what's overrated to you? They go 11-5/12-4 next year? Regress a little bit on offense and defense because it's hard to do much better than they were doing?

Unless Jackson falls off a cliff they're still a favorite for the SB; certainly in the North.

I'll admit, I am pretty shocked at how badly the Titans pushed the Ravens around. It was really not even that competitive.

Personally, I think the Titans are probably going to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl this year. It will be boring as fuck but we're used to that with the Patriots always being in the Super Bowl

When that's clicking, it's very tough to beat, isn't it?

Yes it is...and their D has now held 2 playoff opponents to 13 and 12 points...they deserve a lot of credit, and they had a great game plan, so the coaches did a great job too.

So you're saying the AFC east and NFC west, the Chiefs and Texans, plus their division games were a weak slate? Come on, that slate included 6 playoff teams...so not really a weak slate. I will conceded that sometimes it's about when you play somebody...but they lost 2 games all year with that schedule...that's damn good...they just ran into what might be the hottest team in the league

Yeah the Titans physically kicked the Ravens ass all over the field, I never saw that coming. I kinda thought the league would figure Lamar out but i didn't expect it this soon. His throwing reverted to last year, that didn't help They need help on the outside.

4th down variance and tip drill INT's can make the gap look a lot bigger on the scoreboard than the play actually was, imo. It's pretty good ammo for the people who question if the Ravens can actually play from behind though. In no way were the Ravens meaningfully "exposed." SOL kind of game for them.

People saying the Ravens are overrated are really showing out their asses last night and today.

Honestly, there's really no excuse for Andy Reid and the Chiefs to fail to reach the SB this year now unless Mahomes gets nuked again and Matt Moore is forced out there. They're probably the favorite right now.

Although while the KC run defense has certainly improved over the season, Henry should be a heavy load for them to handle.

That's the one team that's really fucked up the run D from start to finish since the first Texans loss. IIRC, giving up 4.2 YPC since the first Denver game outside of that Titans game. Not trying to cherrypick, but the challenge to stop the Titans on 3rd/4th and short will be massive.

I agree. It was 1 game and it played out very much in the Titan's favor. Not to take anything away from the Titans, but that's pretty much how the Raven's lost all their games. All said and done, great job by the Titans.
