This Titans team is playing like it's the early 70's Dolphins. Complete a few big passes and beat the hell out of the other team with your big back. Good game for the Titans...
When that's clicking, it's very tough to beat, isn't it?

LaFleur use to be Vrabels OC last year and they have both had good seasons so far. I mean LaFleur has had to deal with a team with no talent around Rodgers with Rodgers getting old and being an uncoachable diva I think he has done a great job. He is the first coach on the Packers 100 year history to make the playoff in his rookie year. Lombardi could not even do that with a more talented roster
I don't think it's a diss to LaFleur (or Vrabel) to take Andy Reid over him, tbh. Pete Carroll defenders I can understand...

Daughter turned 18 today. Went out to celebrate.

Came back and found this score.

The team that couldn't be beat this year, beaten like a red headed stepchild.

The hell happened? :noidea:

Maybe rust. It was weird. Lamar Jackson didn't look as fast as he did in the regular seaon.

This is a weird reasoning but not enough meaningful games into it.

I know it is hockey but hear me out.

Tampa Bay Lightning steamrolled everyone last year.

Finished 62-16-4. Nearly set the NHL record for most wins.

Faced #8 Columbus Blue Jackets in the first round.

Columbus abused and swept them

Idk, Pete Carroll calls an offense straight out of the patron saint of all playoff chokers Marty Schottenheimer; his son is even the OC for the Seahawks! O'Brien flat out sucks, and Vrabel and LaFleur are noobs.

I'll take my chances. McNabb and Alex Smith aren't the QB's for Reid anymore.

Shanahan > Reid

The Niners are kind of a run and defense team too. Maybe the pendulum is swinging back to running a bit.

Which is weird considering all the rules that make it basically illegal to breathe on a QB etc.

Idk, boss. This sounds a lot like the same genre of people who told me or implied in other posts Pederson, McVay and Kubiak were better coaches than Reid.

Has me all cynical en sech

The book is being written as we speak. KC SF Super Bowl highest odds now so...

Certainly looks that way on paper. Joe Montana is a happy man.

Would be very on brand for this organization to have 3 blocked FG's against the Titans or some similarly idiotic thing to happen in the playoffs that is non-predictive and inexplicable.

We're on to the Texans, in other words.

Ravens are still a great team it's just the media hype got out of control and over hyped them.

The biggest thing is they fell behind 14 points against the wrong kind of team. The weakness to the Raven's offense is that it's not really designed to come back from behind and they fell behind against a team that runs the ball all the time and shortens the game while the Raven's themselves want to run the ball a lot which further shortens the game.

They still might've been fine but blowing those two what should've been easy 4th down conversions and that Jackson fumble were back breaking.

I didn't think the Titans played a particularly great game defensively but they still played well by making sure Jackson had to run laterally most of the time but their pass defense had a number of holes that allowed Jackson to complete some wide open throws on 3rd down.

Yeah, the Ravens convert some of those 4th downs and don't have a tip drill INT and that game could be very different, imo. Ravens will definitely be back I think. They weren't exposed per se- I really believe that. Just a SOL game for them.

The one weakness they've always had though this year is their WR's just aren't anything special. Titans pass D isn't anything to write home about, but there were some moments you had to think an elite WR could've bailed out the Ravens. Andrews ailing really hurt them, imo.

Don't at all think it was being exposed though. No roster is perfect.

(I really need to stop being scatterbrained and replying myself)
