For over 12 years my Aggie friends have been telling me how great Aggy recruitment is. Every year I predict the wheels will fly off the a$m bus. So far I have been right and a$m fan has been wrong.
Not really sure what you're getting at. Their recruiting has improved dramatically since joining the SEC, this is basically indisputable.
I would suggest it is disputable. a$m has a 4-4 sec conference record setting in the middle of the West Division. That is about where they were in the Big12. Sometimes the recruiter experts get it wrong.
Or... maybe it's just more difficult playing Bama, LSU, Auburn, etc. every year rather than the Big 12. If they were pulling in the classes now that they did over their final 5 years in the Big 12, they would be a 3/4 win team every year.

Playmakers are better,Jimbo is addresing depth issues on both sides of the ball, the defense isn't getting pushed around like it was when Sumlin was the head coach, A&M having back to back top 10 recruiting classes, A&M starting to play physical to name a few. A&M had young team this year with not many upperclassmen with a very tough schedule this year.
