"You shouldn't be pissed off because the Hornets sucked too" Yeah, see how well that works out for Lakers fans who've seen 10 championships in their lifetime and have guys like Kareem, Magic, Shaq, Kobe and Wilts jerseys in the rafters.

Never said you shouldn't be pissed off. Point is you shouldn't expect fans of other teams to say "you guys deserve this" because you were trash for 6 years. That is nothing for most fan bases. Most fans of other teams would gladly take 6 years of struggle. Some on here (@Bolts @tlance) teams have not competed for a title for at least 10+ years and in Tlance case, I can't tell you the last time the Wiz/Bullets were legit title contenders.

If I remember correctly, Kidd was actually never an assistant until this year. He was awarded a HC job based on his name.

From what's been said, that's why he took the job. He realized that he had a lot to learn and if he wanted to be an HC again, he was going to have to do it the right way.

If that's all true...good on him.

If not, we'll start hearing about "issues" within coaching staff soon enough.

I grew up loving the Miami Hurricanes and watched them dominate college football since the late 80's. They suck now and have been irrelevant for 15 years, I'm not going to whine all over a forum seeking sympathy because of it.
