Fix the NFL playoffs

The Cowboys could potentially go 8-8 and still win the division and host a playoff game.


What is wrong with this playoff system?


I wish they would simply get rid of divisions and let the top teams play each other and the bottom teams play each other.

At the end of the season, the top 6 teams get in the playoffs. None of this division crap where a crap team like the Cowboys get to host a playoff game.

I would much rather see the top 6 teams with the best records be seated 1 thru 6 regardless of division.

And we were fine with a 9-7 Ravens hosting a 12-4 Chargers just last year. The Chargers went to Baltimore and took care of their business. Almost every year, this shit comes up and it's a load of crap. If Seattle or San Fran can't go into one of those NFCE teams' house and beat them, then they don't deserve any credit or sympathy because they had a good regular season.

Sometimes it’s a matter of strength of schedule. At the end of the day you need to beat the team in front of you especially if you don’t think the other team belongs in the playoffs.

I mean why water down the regular season, we can actually make it mean something!!!!!

We have a hard enough time finding deserving Super Bowl champs anyway. Just put the two top teams in the Super Bowl and call it good.

Even though Seattle won that game, I was NOT OK with that. If a division sucks badly enough that a 7-9 team wins the division, shut them out of the playoffs and bring in a third wild card team.
