Well worth the listen:

Mike Valenti's Opening Monologue After Michigan Loss To Ohio State - The Valenti Show - Omny.fm

“I’ll bet you all touched your balls when Harbaugh was announced as coach”.

"Good thing Bo's Dead because the the last two years would've killed him."

“you’re their bitch and the only thing that’s left is for them to put lipstick on you next year”

"Your narrative protects you from what really happened Saturday. And what is real? Your coach is not special."
Mike Valenti, professional bitch, ironically calls Michigan OSU's bitch. Nothing like an angry sparty trying to vicariously live through OSU. At least MSU and their fans are back in their appropriate place.

Michigan also did what every other team that played Ohio State this season....LOST.

Poor coaching IMO, HC didn't get the players ready for the big game. Disappointing to say the least. Time for a change.
To who? Who, outside of Urban Meyer, Nick Saban and MAYBE Dabo, would be able to come in and do better against OSU in the next 4 years. Anyone you name who isn't those guys has a significant chance of total failure (like what Texas is going through right now with Herman, who was a lock at the time). 5 years ago we lost to rutgers, fast forward 5 years and we're supposed to fire a coach for losing to the #1 team in the country with the #1 ranked offense and defense? Ok bud.

No I didn't know it. There's online courses at Michigan but I know for a fact you can't obtain an undergrad degree from Michigan without coming to campus for the majority of your classes. They just recently announced a few masters degree programs you can obtain through online courses but that's about it.

I'm mostly saying OSU is genius for doing it. Here kid, come to school here and you don't actually have to go to class. "you" have to log in a few times a week and do these online courses. And I guarantee he has help with even those. I respect the hustle in that. And fuck it at this point, I want Michigan to do the same shit. We've come close by hiring kid's parents to the athletic department but nothing that basically gets a kid out of almost all school commitments.
Ok, here's more of what you don't know. Fields is in the first few months of his second year of college. He's in the pre-business program in the Fisher school. This means he's mostly taking his GEC's online right now, something a lot of students do. Once he gets to Fisher full-time, assuming he gets there, he will be on campus. I was talking to my wife about this yesterday and she pointed out remarkably ignorant this idea is that OSU players are just all taking online classes and that's all they ever have to do, because it's just not true.

I don't think all OSU players are taking online courses. I'm just saying it's a genius path if you want to scoot around the system. I very much doubt Fields is a 4 year player at OSU and will likely leave without a degree. If he is a 4 year player...fuck.

How many times has the current Michigan HC beat theOSU ? the answer is Zero, bud. Poor preparation and coaching every year...5 years running. There are better coaches out there than Harbaugh. Trust me, I know.

Yeah, your program is a model class and respectability.

It's well known we slipped for a few years as UF was CUMstained.

Word to any school who takes an Ohio state sleezeball into his program. It took a decade to clean up the filthy residue at Florida.

It isn't "scooting around the system", that's absurd. It's what any other undergrad student can do. There's no defending your fellow michigan crybabies, they're just flatout wrong, which makes their pathetic little podcast even worse.

It's hard to beat perennial cheaters, but c'mon...5 years in a row?

Michigan has two wins in the last 16 years that spans 4 different coaches. This isn't a Harbaugh problem.

If I had to go to school to play football, I'd choose the place where I didn't actually have to go to class. Seems like a pretty reasonable argument. If he wanted to be pre-business at Michigan, he'd have to go to classes on campus.

Your star QB doesn't know what your campus is like except from a recruiting visit. Come on....

So you can tell me for a fact that michigan football players are, under no circumstances, allowed to take GEC classes online?

Harbaugh is the only one that the rest of college football has had to have jammed down their throat in terms of hype and SportsHoopla. Harbaugh is the only one that's the third highest paid head coach in the nation, and the only one taking his kids on global field trips and holding "all-star" signing day events.

They can take some online courses here but there's no entirely online undergrad degrees allowed. The only totally online degrees at Michigan are a few select Masters courses.

why is "all-star" in quotes? Is that against NCAA rules?

Well that's not really relevant to Fields, as he's also not in an entirely online undergrad degree. Again, he's taking GECs right now.

No it was because they called it "all-star" but it was basically Ric Flair, Derek Jeter, and some former players. It's not like they had any actual stars.

LOL @JuiceTheGator is big mad that I pointed out that his cesspool of a program is a cesspool regardless of who the coach is.

I don't think anyone can look at the Fields situation and reasonably argue that he's just a normal college student trying to juggle life and take courses online and that there wasn't consideration for how easy this path could potentially be. If he does end up getting a degree, fine. But I think we'll see he's just taking the easiest path until he can get to the NFL. Which is also fine. I have no problem with that, but let's call it what it is.
