shut up and make me a sandwich
60 easy pts! Easy 3 quarters!
Wow, you manage to make even a Harden thread about the Bucks. Was this against the ...Bucks?
Wow, you manage to make even a Harden thread about the Bucks.
You do know there are other teams in the NBA?
Obviously you reply to this thread without even having read the Q in the title (which is idiotic enough by definition)...
To your info: The Q is "who is going to stop me (J.H)?"
I believe that 1st game of the season for the Rockets, was the defeat at home against the Bucks (the league's best defense)... How many pts did he score in this game and at what percentage? ...can you recall?
If you can't, look it up... and then, after you do, shut the fuck up!
Actually, the Nuggets have the best defensive rating in the league. Followed by the Raptors.
Look it up... and then, after you do, shut the fuck up!
Wow, quite the attack. I read past the headline to where he was talking about this specific 60 point game; which, by the way, was not against the Bucks.Obviously you reply to this thread without even having read the Q in the title (which is idiotic enough by definition)...

Oh, and just for you, I did look it up. 19, 14, and 7, while maybe slowing him down a little, does not come to my definition of stopping Harden.
19 pts + 14 assists (that means at least another 28 pts he's helped his team get). Yes, you didn't give up 60 to him, but damn, that ain't stopping him.do you call that "slowing him down a little"? He had 1 3pt in 7 attempts with Bledsoe stuck on him so that he couldn't breath...

The Bucks have a very unconventional approach against Harden that is highly effective, but it also looks crazy so other teams are afraid to replicate it.
The defender sits on Harden’s left hand trying to take away the step back 3, but they literally allow him to get a straight line drive to the rim whenever he wants into help defenders. The strategy makes Harden uncomfortable and he has not yet figured out how to beat it efficiently. But my bet is that he will.
Harden is unstoppable but that isn't the problem. This year is the perfect opportunity to get a title. Yeah, there are still some great teams and players in the west now, with the Clippers, Lakers and Nuggets being some of the best BUT the Warriors are gone. If you can't do it now, you won't ever win a title.

He will get his points even if he shoots bad bc of free throws but he has a long history of failing to get his team over the hump and in some cases losing to the inferior team. Great scorer, can't be stopped but he will fall apart in one series in the playoffs...I will say he has played better more recently but this has to be the year he gets to the Finals. I feel like we say this every year but this year is different...no superteam W's.
I've been saying this for a while, but the reason Harden's game doesn't translate well to the playoffs is he relies a lot upon drawing fouls and in the playoffs the contact level and the physicality allowed go up substantially. On top of that teams in the regular season can't really game plan around him as much as they can in a 7 game series.
Harden is a beast on offense. When he's got it going from the perimeter, he's unstoppable. But when he's relying on drawing fouls that works in the regular season, but not so much during the playoffs.
